My favorite brand of flats just came out with a brand new style and I just had to have them. Rouge Tieks are here and I've got all the details about them, including sizing, some styling ideas, and side by side photos of them with similar colors.
Tieks have been my go-to flat for 4 years now. They are, by far, my favorite ballet flats and I've become somewhat of an expert on them over the years. I've currently got over 70 pairs in my collection, which you can see in my post about how to pick the perfect pair of Tieks shoes. Tieks are known for their supple leather flats, but over the past year or so they've started coming out with newer styles, like the textile Heritage Plaid Tieks. Now, they just released their first suede style. Of course, I just had to have them and I couldn't wait for them to arrive.
My first impression of these right out of the box was that they are indeed gorgeous. The 100% premium suede is soft and sumptuous and the color is everything. These Rouge Tieks fit perfectly and were so comfortable right out of the box.
For me, these are true to size. I'm a true 8.5 (and 9 in sneakers) and most of my Tieks are size 9 (besides a few Vegan Tieks and my Mojave Tieks). The size 9 in Rouge are keepers.
I won't go over the many, many reasons I'm obsessed with these flats since I've done that in my Tieks review, but just know that these suede flats are just as comfortable and mold to your feet like the other styles. As noted by Tieks, this suede leather has been double-dyed for maximum color saturation (and the color is AMAZING!) so color transfer is a possibility. You'll want to treat this style with a suede protectant like this Scotchgard Suede & Nubuck Protector to prevent that from happening. Styling Rouge Tieks
When it comes to styling these beautiful, bold rouge shoes, almost anything goes. I tried out a variety of outfits with these suede flats and I loved every look. From casual to cocktail, I think these flats work with any look. You can easily dress them up or down and they're perfect for the fall and winter months.

Thanks to you and your extensive Tieks information, I took advantage of Tieks' Heroes $100 coupon and bought a pair of the Rouge flats. The Navy is moving me to Spain in a few months. I look forward to traipsing around Europe in them!

Have you had issues with the rogue Tieks bleeding or discoloring your foot or socks? Considering them as a great “neutral” since I love red but wasn’t sure about the suede and coloring potential issue with transference.

I think this might happen if they get wet but I haven't run into this issue. Hope that helps!
