Grab a mug and get ready to make your own, smarter, vanilla chai latte at home. I've partnered with GNC Earth Genius to show you how to make a homemade latte that you'll love and that will also add nutrition to your daily diet. All opinions are my own. I've been really focused on my health and nutrition over the past year and have made some serious changes in terms of my diet and exercise routine. I've been strength-training and cross-training at least 5 days a week and realized I needed to add more nutrients to fuel my body. That is exactly why I love the versatile and comprehensive line of GNC Earth Genius products. Whether I'm making homemade chewy granola bars, a superfoods smoothie, or a protein-packed berry smoothie with yogurt, Earth Genius helps improve my daily nutrition. Since I've started using this line of non-GMO, gluten-free products that contain no artificial colors, flavors or sweeteners, I've found so many ways to incorporate them in the foods I'm already preparing. I'm still eating and drinking my favorite things, but now my meals and snacks are smarter than ever.
When GNC sent me Earth Genius SuperFoods Supreme Vanilla Chai, I knew exactly how I'd incorporate it into my diet. I love making hot lattes at home so I can control the ingredients (and so I can skip the high prices at the coffee shop!). Chai lattes are my absolute favorite so I couldn't wait to see how the SuperFoods Supreme that's packed with fruits, veggies, mushrooms, and greens would blend up into my favorite drink.
I'm happy to report that this beverage tastes amazing! All you need are a few ingredients and a high-powered blender and you can make a homemade vanilla chai latte that will rival any coffee shop drink AND you'll get the added benefits of superfoods!
Just one scoop of SuperFoods Supreme Vanilla Chai will add that wholesome blend of fruits, veggies, greens, mushrooms, and sprouts, but you'll also get an additional 6 grams of protein and 2 grams of fiber.
To make my homemade vanilla chai tea latte, I poured 12 ounces of vanilla almond milk into my high-powered blender and pressed the "hot soup" setting. The cycle’s length of time, combined with the speed of the motor, heats the ingredients so the milk will froth a bit at the top, which is perfect for lattes. I blended the milk for a total of 4 cycles (50 seconds each cycle). I added a scoop of Earth Genius SuperFoods Supreme Vanilla Chai to a mug, then poured the milk into and stirred thoroughly. Next, I added a chai tea bag to the warm milk and let it steep for 5 minutes. However, the second time I made this latte, I skipped the tea bag altogether. The SuperFoods Supreme Vanilla Chai has plenty of chai flavor so you can skip the tea bag if you'd like.
Making a homemade vanilla chai latte is so easy, especially when you're using the SuperFoods Supreme Vanilla Chai flavor! Not only is it a rich treat that tastes fantastic, but it's also giving you additional nutrition. It's so much smarter than your average latte.

Chai lattes are one of my favorites but I have never tried making one at home. This looks easy and something that I would like to try.
