Since I became a mom, I feel like I'm scatterbrained and forgetful all the time. Many days I find myself overwhelmed, which causes me to freeze up and fall even more behind on daily tasks and activities with my kids. While I've utilized paper planners the past few years to keep track of appointments and such, I've recently started using them to make daily lists as well. That's been helping me keep on track with things I want to accomplish each day, which ensures I keep up with my many engagements as well. The best planner I've found is from Plum Paper Planners. I'm excited to partner with them to share my newest customized planner with you, as well as a giveaway for your own personalized schedule keeper.
Plum Paper Planners
The first thing that draws me into Plum Paper Planners is that they're completely personalized and so easy to customize. From the cover to the very last page, you get to choose the layout, style, and add-ons for your planner. I chose a floral cover (give me all the florals!), but there are also geometric options, patterns, neutrals, classics, and more. You can also choose to customize a text design including colors, font, etc. I chose a Rumi quote that says "Stop acting so small. You are the world in ecstatic motion". I chose this quote because I often let myself get overwhelmed by how many tasks I have on any given day, but I know that I need to just start with one thing and the rest will fall into place. I'm keenly aware that I'm unlikely to get to everything, but I just need the motivation to get started and when I see this quote, that helps me!
Monthly Layout Options
Each month begins with three goal circles as well as birthdays, events, and things to remember. I like creating goals at the beginning of each month so I'm reminded of them each time I open my planner. I LOVE lists and I feel so accomplished when I can check things off, so these reminder pages are very helpful to me.
Then we get into the monthly layout pages. You can choose a neutral or colorful layout for your planner, and I always go with colorful. There are a variety of options when it comes to your monthly view. I like the horizontal view, but if you prefer vertical, hourly, weekly grid, or others, you'll find so many ways to customize with Plum Paper Planners. I forgot to mention, you can choose a few different sizes; mine is 7x9 inches and I think it's perfect.
Following each monthly spread, I like to add note pages. Like I mentioned before, I adore making lists and notes, and checking things off. I enjoy having my note pages right in my planner rather than in a separate notebook.
Plum Paper Planners Add-Ons
I also included shopping list add-ons in my planner this year, because I'm always trying to get ahead while meal planning. I'm terrible at it, but it's something I'm really working on! When I have time to sit down and plan out our weekly meals, I like to make a list of ingredients I need to pick up. The best place to keep those is in my planner because I always have it with me and I can't forget my list at home! Along with shopping lists, Plum Paper Planners has tons of other add-ons including (but not limited to) the following:
- Home
- Business
- Lifestyle
- Educational
You can choose to have a tabbed section for these pages, or get them dispersed throughout the planner. I like my shopping lists dispersed throughout my months, so that's what I chose to do this time around. They also have some adorable stickers that you can choose to add to your planner!
Choose 12 or 18 Months
Since I'm all about color, I buy Paper Mate felt tip pens that don't bleed through the paper at all. Plum Paper Planners uses thick, soft paper for their planners and I love the quality. I've had many planners over the past few years, but I always come back to Plum Paper for their quality and ability to customize to my current needs. I chose an 18-month planner this time, though 12 months is also available. I appreciate that I can start my planner on any month, as well. Overall, I have zero complaints and I highly recommend Plum Paper Planners! If you'd like a quick overview of the whole planner, check out my video below

Oh my goodness, that was smart asking what my favorite product would be so I had to go browse their website. oh dear, I can see if I am lucky enough to win this planner I am going to have a new addiction! Haha. I could NOT narrow it down to one favorite thing. I can say I especially loved the interchangeable covers, especially "Movement" and any of the Gray Wood designs.
Also I can see I would probably end up hooked on buying additions, like I LOVE the looks and how much I think it would be helpful to me to have their WELLNESS lifestyle bundle AND their MEAL PLANNING lifestyle bundle AND their TRAVEL lifestyle bundle and I would want the housework one too.
