If you like to start your day with a smoothie, I've got a genius recipe for you. Skip that trip to the smoothie shop and make your own at home! I've partnered with GNC Earth Genius to show you how I make a smarter triple berry smoothie with yogurt and Smart Greens. As always, all opinions are my own. I have a smoothie every day. It's part of my daily routine and ever since I started using GNC Earth Genius products about 6 months ago, I've been working smarter, not harder, when it comes to making meals and snacks. I know it can be tempting to just run to your local smoothie shop and grab and go, but I really like knowing exactly what's in my smoothies. That way I can control the amount of each ingredient, the number of calories and macros. That's another reason I like to use the GNC Earth Genius line. It's a comprehensive line of wholesome supplements, available exclusively at GNC, that are inspired by nature and crafted by experts. They use only the best ingredients on Earth to make products that you can feel good about using.
I'd been on a Superfood Smoothie kick, but I've been trying to increase my protein intake so I've started whipping up a triple berry smoothie with yogurt that's doing just the trick. And, to make it genius, I'm adding GNC Earth Genius Smart Greens.
Berry Smoothie with Yogurt and Smart Greens
The base of the smoothie is pretty simple. I use a cup of Greek yogurt, which gives me a whopping 22 grams of protein, 1 cup of frozen mixed berries (I used a blend of cherries, strawberries, and blueberries), one ripe banana, and 6 ounces of water to thin it out. To make it even smarter, I add a scoop of GNC Earth Genius Smart Greens.
Like all GNC Earth Genius products, Smart Greens are non-GMO, gluten-free, and free of artificial colorings, flavors, or sweeteners. Smart Greens provides greens, fruits, veggies, an adaptogenic mushroom blend, and the prebiotic inulin to support the growth of friendly Bifidobacterium in your digestive system.* The berry flavor is smooth and not overpowering and blends perfectly with the triple berry blend I use in this smoothie. There's also a Smart Greens with Energy that provides the same greens, fruits, veggies, and mushroom blend, but it's also got natural caffeine to give you a boost.
