    Peanut Butter Tasty Cake Recipe

I just introduced my kids to Peanut Butter Tasty Cakes and they're a new favorite! I've partnered with Tub O' Towels to share this easy dessert recipe with you and to show you how much easier clean up can be.

    peanut butter tasty cakes

One of my best girlfriends is from an Amish family and we were recently flipping through her grandmother's handwritten cookbook when a Peanut Butter Tasty Cakes recipe called out to me. I asked her what those were like and she told me they were her husband's very favorite dessert. We decided to plan a mommy-and-me baking day to whip up a batch to surprise her hubby.

Now, if you know me, you might know that I keep a very clean house. We are pretty meticulous when it comes to keeping our house tidy and the thought of a baking playdate sort of sent my mind racing. It was almost serendipitous that a box from Tub O' Towels arrived shortly afterward. Tub O’ Towels Granite & Marble Wipes and Tub O’ Towels Stainless Steel Wipes were hitting the shelves and they wanted me to try them out. I was about to host three toddlers to mix up desserts. This was perfect timing!

Mixing up the tasty cakes was pretty simple. Getting the kids to cooperate was the challenge. We had a lot of fun but made quite a mess in the process! Our quartz countertops were covered in egg, flour, and sugar.

Luckily, the Tub O’ Towels Granite & Marble Wipes handled the mess like a champ. These large 7" by 8"  wipes are safe to use on marble, granite, quartz, travertine, limestone, onyx, Corian, Formica, siltstone, laminate, porcelain, tile, ceramic, fiberglass, and other non-porous hard surface counters. They easily remove soil, grease, stains, watermarks, and more from your countertops, while giving them a streak-free shine.

These wipes clean, polish and seal natural stone surfaces, all in just a few swipes. The fact that they seal surfaces to protect them from future staining gives me such peace of mind.

If you're wondering, the Tub O' Towels Granite & Marble Wipes even handles oily peanut butter marks and chocolate.

    finger prints on stainless steel

If you're a parent, you know all about fingerprints on stainless steel. It's one of my biggest pet peeves and after our playdate, our refrigerator, stove, and dishwasher were covered in little dirty handprints.

The Tub O’ Towels Stainless Steel Wipes saved the day here. These 7” x 8” wipes are ideal for refrigerators, small appliances, dishwashers, grills, faucets, stoves, and ranges. All of the greasy fingerprints went away like magic and I was left with streak-free, shiny appliances.

When I first opened up the Stainless Steel Wipes I thought they must have dried out. It turns out that since the wipes are oil-based, they're not as moist as other wipes that you might be used to with other water-based wipes. Don't be fooled though. They're super effective at cleaning, polishing, and protecting stainless steel surfaces and the oil-based formula actually resists fingerprints. These wipes are also great for chrome, aluminum, copper, and brass.

I was able to clean everything up before our Peanut Butter Tasty Cakes were even out of the oven. I was excited to try this peanut butter treat and I am definitely a fan. The cake isn't too sweet and it's more sponge-like. The sweetness really comes from the peanut butter and chocolate topping. Just follow the recipe below to make your own tasty cakes.
