My kids can't get enough of the Trolls Holiday Special on Netflix. If you've got little Trolls lovers, we're telling you a little more about it, plus we've got some fun Trolls crafts for kids so you can make the most of your holiday break.
When I became a Netflix partner by joining the #StreamTeam about 3 years ago, I had no idea how much we'd come to appreciate their streaming service. Netflix streaming has evolved over the years and so many titles and awesome series have been added and now I can't imagine life without it. Neither could my kids! They love streaming their favorite shows, like Super Monsters, The Magic School Bus Rides Again, and H2O Mermaid Adventures, but lately they've got a major thing for Trolls. In fact, the Trolls Holiday Special has been on repeat around here.
When the Queen of the Trolls, Poppy, finds out that the Bergens do not have holidays, she enlists help from her friends, Branch and the Snack Pack, to help her bring holidays to the Bergens. Not only do my kids love the characters and the songs, they love the eye-popping animation. The storyline is just darling. It will probably be the best 25 minutes you've spent this holiday season. I highly encourage you to stream it on Netflix!
Since my kids are so Trolls obsessed, we're doing ALL the Trolls crafts for kids this Christmas break. I've got a few ideas for you if you want to do some too!
Trolls Crafts
Salt dough ornaments are a huge hit around here. Kids love kneading the dough and adding their little handprints then painting them when they're finished. This year, we made some super awesome Trolls ornaments for our tree.
Check out the step-by-step instructions to make our Trolls ornaments and grab our salt dough ornament recipe too!
We also made some Trolls glittler slime! Slime is all the rage right now and these pint-size slimes were perfect party favors for Amber's little guy's Trolls birthday party.
Another fun craft to make with the kiddos are Trolls headbands. These are the cutest and your kids will seriously love them.
I hope you're ready to get crafty! Hopefully, these Trolls crafts will keep your little ones entertained over the holiday break. And, speaking of entertained - don't forget that Netflix has the BEST parenting hack ever: Netflix New Year’s Eve Countdowns. Want to put your kiddo to bed at 9 PM, instead of letting them stay up to watch the ball drop? NO problem! With nine countdowns to choose from, you can press play on the night’s festivities whenever and however you want!
Featuring a cast of faces familiar and new, kids can party with Trollhunters, All Hail King Julien, Skylanders Academy, Puffin Rock, Word Party and Beat Bugs, and new appearances from Pororo, Larva, and True and the Rainbow Kingdom. Starting December 26, search “Countdown” or “New Year’s Eve Countdown” and you’ll find a special 2018 icon added to the Netflix.com/Kids homepage with direct access to all nine videos.
How will you be celebrating New Year's Eve?
Will you be using a Netflix countdown? I know I will!
