Furniture is a hefty investment. I'm sharing my experience with the Pottery Barn Chesterfield Sofa and Chesterfield Roll Arm Leather Armchair and coordinating leather ottomans. Are they really worth the cost? I'll break it down for you.
I've got a strange nook in my master bedroom. It measures 78" wide and runs along a wall where my television hangs. It would be perfect for a desk, but I've got an office. A built-in would have been nice, but would have been a little too deep. I thought about putting a Peloton there but I've got a home gym in my garage.
For a while, I left this space empty. Then, I finally decided a sitting space would look the most appropriate. As with most of the other furniture in my home, I looked to Pottery Barn first. Pottery Barn Chesterfield Sofa
I knew I wanted something a little more sophisticated for my bedroom. In my Pottery Barn living room, I opted for a soft, cozy Pearce Sectional. In this space, I wanted traditional yet sleek. That led me to the Pottery Barn Chesterfield Sofa.
The Chesterfield Sofa comes in 4 different sizes, ranging from 65" to 96" wide. The Chesterfield comes in a sectional and other styles as well. You can also get it in upholstered fabric or leather. I chose a 72" loveseat in Vintage Graphite. This hue has since been replaced with Burnished Wolf Gray Leather. I absolutely love everything about it. This couch looks and feels like it will be an instant heirloom.
I've said it several times, but you just can't beat the quality of Pottery Barn furniture. The top-grain leather is soft, yet substantial. Personally, I prefer the rolled arm, but you can also get a Chestfield with a square arm.
Coordinating Leather Ottoman
I also ordered a Chesterfield Leather Ottoman that is 38" long. Again, this piece is well-built and sturdy. It's the perfect complement to the Chesterfield sofa. This particular ottoman comes in two sizes, 30.5" and 38" and is made to order in your choice of top-grain leather.
Pottery Barn Chesterfield Roll Arm Leather Armchair
I also ordered a Chesterfield Roll Arm Leather Armchair and coordinating ottoman in Vintage Cocoa.
The armchair comes in two sizes, a 44" small armchair and a 50" grand armchair. I chose the grand version. I love the rolled arm and stately feel of this leather chair.
The top-grain, weathered leather and chair design make this look antique. The leather is soft and supple. I got the smaller ottoman for this pairing and it's perfectly sized.
The chair is very comfortable and has held up well over the years since we bought it. These pieces are a timeless style and I imagine they will last for decades. I'm extremely happy with these purchases.
