With so many baby carrier options on the market, it can be hard to figure out which one is best. I've got a full review of the Boba 3G baby carrier so you can see if it's right for you.
Boba gets it - you want to be close to your baby and your baby wants to be close to you. However, you also want the freedom to move around and maintain an active lifestyle. That's why they've created a line of top quality products including wraps, carriers, and accessories.I love babywearing and having my little one snuggled up against me, feeling close and secure. Besides being convenient, there are so many benefits of babywearing.
There are so many carriers available and some have quite a learning curve. It can be overwhelming, frustrating and uncomfortable if you don't have the right carrier. Luckily, the Boba 3G takes the guesswork out of babywearing. The Boba 3G was created to carry infants to toddlers, weighing 7-45 pounds. This is truly a one-size carrier with no additional infant inserts needed (thank you Boba!). There is a special hold for newborns ranging in weight from 7-15 pounds. There are great, detailed instructions on how to convert your carrier for the newborn hold included with your Boba. My little one is 8.5 months old so I went with the front carry first.

The Boba 3G is ergonomically designed for both wearer and baby. The weight of the baby is evenly distributed and the padded shoulder straps ensure comfort, especially when wearing your baby for longer periods of time. The baby is positioned with legs spread in a frog-like position to prevent hip dysplasia. The Boba 3G is probably the most comfortable for me out of all of the carriers I own or have tried. I'm able to wear this carrier for long periods of time without feeling fatigued or having any back or shoulder discomfort.
The Boba 3G is designed to fit heights between 5' and 6'3'', meaning both mom and dad (or grandma, caretaker, etc) can all use the same carrier. The adjustable chest strap can slide up or down along the shoulder straps to adjust the level at which the chest strap sits on your chest or back (in the photo below, you can see the strap is high up on my back, as I had just put the carrier on and fastened the buckle). The waistband adjusts to accommodate waists ranging from 25'' to 58''. There are attached elastic bands to store the extra slack of the waistband, chest and shoulder straps - just neatly roll the excess strap and loop the elastic around it. There is also an adjustment to tighten or loosen the shoulder straps which is perfect for breastfeeding moms.
With the Boba 3 G you can forward carry or back carry. My little one has excellent head and neck control and weighs 20 pounds so I also feel comfortable with the back carry position. He really prefers this when we're out and about so he can soak in our surroundings.
The Boba 3G is loaded with features that make this carrier unique (and amazing!). I've already mentioned that it can be used to carry newborns without the need for additional inserts (and expense), but let me show you a few of the other awesome features of this carrier:
Hood: Living in Florida, It's imperative for me to have a hood on my carriers. This hood is completely removable and adjustable so it can grow with your baby or toddler.
Storage: I prefer not to lug a purse with me when I'm using a carrier so I love having storage built into the carrier itself. The Boba 3G has a large zippered pouch that can also be used to store the hood when it's not in use. It also has two smaller storage spaces: a small zippered compartment that could hold some cash and credit cards, and also a pocket built into the waist band.
However, if you need/want to carry a purse with you, the Boba 3G has an awesome feature to hold your bag in place so you can continue to be hands-free. On each shoulder strap, there is a purse strap built in to keep your purse or diaper bag on your shoulder.
Foot Straps: If you have an older child there is a wonderful feature for them. There are two removable footstraps included with the Boba 3G to give those tired little legs a rest. These straps also support their legs in a flexed abducted position to naturally tilt their pelvis and align their spine. They really encourage the child to be in an ergonomically correct position.
Materials: The Boba 3G is 100% cotton so it's breathable and comfortable for you and baby. It's made extremely well with high quality military grade buckles so you can feel confident that your baby is secure.
Extra height: The Boba 3G's back panel is about 2-3 inches higher than other soft structured carriers on the market. This is a wonderful feature to provide your little one extra support. It also helps keep your center of gravity closer to you. I also really appreciate this extra height because there are times when my baby wants to get out of the carrier that he arches his back and pulls away from me. Those extra inches ensure that he can't get too far away from me and end up in a dangerous position.
Overall, I'm thrilled with my Boba 3G! This carrier has surpassed all of my expectations and I can't say enough good things about it! I absolutely love it and would recommend the Boba 3G to anyone looking for a high quality soft structured carrier.

This carrier would be for my husband and I, there is a drastic size difference between us and I know this carrier would be great for our first addition 🙂

I love this. and I also like all the cool features & how comfy it looks when the kid is it in. i have a a baby carrier..crap! his legs dangle and hes not comfy. we need something like this!

I've always been sure I would choose the Moby Wrap but after reading this review I may have to rethink this. I love that you said it was the most comfortable wrap you have tried. And I love all of the added little things - like the pouch for mom, the purse strap, and the foot straps! It really seems like they thought of everything!
