I was beyond excited to have the opportunity to review this luxury stroller in one of their brand new fashions, Slate. The color is an awesome shade of deep grey that is perfectly gender neutral and so stylish!
The Britax B-Ready is a modular stroller that has an innovative design that allows for 14 different configurations! It allows for you to really customize the stroller to fit your needs.

Now, allow me to tell you about this stroller in a little more detail:
Assembling the B-Ready is very, very easy. My husband and I had this stroller assembled and ready to roll within 7 minutes. The instructions were easy to follow and it was mostly just clicking pieces together.
The seat included with the B-Ready stroller is designed for babies 6 months and older and up to 55 pounds. There are 4 recline positions, but the seat will maintain it's V-shape so it's really recommended for infants 6 months and up. The seat is easy to take on and off and can easily switch from forward facing to backward facing thanks to the chassis sockets. These chassis sockets are part of the CLICK & GO system which allows for all of the awesome configurations that you see above. This CLICK & GO system is essentially the heart of the B-Ready stroller and is what makes it modular. The integrated receivers (chassis sockets) enable you to position the seat forward or rear-facing, attach a bassinet, or attach an infant car seat to create a travel system. The B-Ready stroller accepts the Britax Chaperone and B-SAFE Infant Car Seats as well as the Bassinet without having to purchase additional adapters. If you have a different brand of car seat, you can purchase an adapter frame that is compatible with certain Chicco, Graco, and Peg Perego infant car seats.
The seat of the B-Ready is very roomy for your little one. It measures 12 inches wide and 21.5 inches to the very top of the seat. It measures a total of 24 inches from the seat to the highest point under the canopy, which will allow plenty of room for an older child. There is a 5-point safety harness that is fully adjustable from an access panel on the back of the stroller. The lap padding that provides comfort for baby is sewn directly onto the seat. Personally, I love this feature since other pads that just surround the buckle can slide around and make it difficult to buckle and unbuckle your child. The head pad that comes with the seat is soft, plush and is one of the nicest head pads I've seen on a stroller. The fabric is wonderfully soft and easy to spot clean as needed. Another great feature of the the B-Ready seat is the adjustable foot rest. It can adjust up or down depending on your child's needs. This is also very helpful when accessing the stroller's basket from the front - just position the footrest upwards and you'll have plenty of room to get items in and out of the basket.
Below is a photo of the access panel on the backside of the seat that allows you to adjust the shoulder straps of the 5-point safety harness. This is a NO RE-THREAD system (thank you Britax!). I can't tell you how much I LOVE not having to re-thread the shoulder straps to adjust their height. This would be especially lovely if you're using this stroller for multiple children with differing heights.
The seat position can be adjusted with just ONE hand! Just lift and hold the recline lever on the back of the the seat while raising or lowering the seat back to your desired position.
There are 4 different seat positions. You can see in the photos below that the seat maintains it's V-shape even in the lowest recline position, which is why the B-Ready seat is recommended for babies 6 months and up.
The B-Ready seat comes with an arm bar instead of a baby tray. It's completely removable and in it's place you can attach child cup holders (sold separately) if you prefer. The arm bar is a very easy to attach/detach.
The canopy on the B-Ready is quite large and has an attached sun visor. It provides a great deal of shade and protection for your little one. There is also great mesh peek through window that has a magnetic closure. This is one of my favorite features of this stroller! My previous stroller window had a velcro closure and I'd often wake my sleeping baby while I was trying to sneak a peek at him because the noise would startle him. The canopy on the B-Ready is also completely removable.
I know my little guy is super comfortable while strolling in the B-Ready thanks to it's fabulous head pad, large canopy, reclining seat, and 4-point suspension system.
Now, let's look at strolling from the parent's comfort perspective:
The handle on the B-Ready adjusts up and down to multiple positions. The lowest position measures 32 inches from the ground to the bottom of the handlebar. The highest position measures 44 inches from the ground to the handlebar. Whether you're short or very tall, there's a handlebar position for you! The handlebar is also foam wrapped and there's a comfort grip handle in the center which makes one-handed steering a breeze.
The B-Ready comes with an adult cup holder that is completely removable. The basket on the Britax B-Ready is VERY roomy. I have a pretty large diaper bag and it fits in the basket with plenty of room to spare. You can also access the basket from the front of the stroller or from either side thanks to large zippered access panels. The openings are very wide so you have lots of room to get your things in and out from any of the entry points. The basket is so roomy because when this stroller is used in double mode, the child riding on the lower seat would be occupying some of that space.
Folding the stroller is really quite easy. It's a two handed job since you have to pull up on frame release levers on both sides of the handle, but that's about all you have to do. Apply the brake, pull up on the levers, then step back as you guide the stroller downwards. There is a chassis lock that will engage to keep the stroller closed. It's not the most compact or lightweight stroller at 26 pounds, but that's a small price to pay for all of it's amazing features, comfort, and stability.
The parking brake is super easy to use thanks to the one-step system and color indicator. Just step on the brake tab to change the color from red to green to start strolling! I wish every stroller was outfitted with one of these!
The B-Ready has foam-filled rubber tires. The back tires measure 11 inches and the front wheels are 7.5 inches. The front wheels swivel, making steering a breeze, but they also have the ability to lock straight if you're dealing with an off-road situation. There is a simple toggle on the back of the front wheel housing that you move up or down to allow the wheels to swivel or lock straight.
The Britax B-Ready handles like a dream. It's very easy to push and turns effortlessly. This stroller is a bit bigger (taller and wider) than others I've used before so that took a little getting used to, but after a few uses I had good spatial awareness and was able to maneuver it without a problem.
