Its no secret that babies love to be held. Probably all day, if they had it their way. This baby of mine, like many newborns, just hates to be put down! She'll fall asleep on my chest in an instant, but it only takes about a minute in the bouncer before she realizes that she's NOT being held and that she's not happy about it! For mothers of infants, sitters, crawlers, and even walkers, I totally recommend a sturdy baby carrier, and until I tried out a LÍLLÉbaby carrier, I didn't realize how baby carriers can be so different and that a high-quality one makes a huge difference. At no cost to facilitate this review, I was able to try out a Complete All Seasons Black and Camel carrier, and I've been so pleased with it that its becoming my favorite topic to talk about when I'm around new moms!
LÍLLÉbaby focuses on functionality and beauty as its core theme, founded from Scandinavian design. They strive to bring a style and level of comfort, while still functional, to parents who want to keep their baby close. If you have been following the LÍLLÉbaby line of carriers, you probably noticed their new site and designs! The original carrier has gotten a makeover, plus they've added the Airflow carriers and the All Seasons carriers. Considering this upcoming summer and the wide range of temperatures we experience in New England, I decided that an All Seasons carrier would be an extremely useful piece of baby gear that would get used quite a bit.
The moment I put baby inside my Complete All Seasons Black and Camel carrier, I was astounded at how evenly distributed her weight felt and how practically weightless this made her feel. With this design that starts with a sturdy belt, the baby's weight is so ingeniously focused on your waist, instead of your shoulders or back. Within the first minute, I could tell a WORLD of difference between this and my old (very old) hand-me-down carrier which is at least a decade old. This LÍLLÉbaby carrier is so extremely ergonomic, customized to your body size and dimensions, obviously tested and designed to be functional and comfortable.
I also quickly noticed how these super cushy shoulder straps are a dream. Very comfortable. I appreciate that this carrier is easy to put on by yourself, especially with the strap in the back being placed high up so you can reach it yourself to hook and unhook.
Speaking of the hardware, every clasp, snap, and zipper is very well constructed and sewn in. I have no fear of any of these parts breaking or wearing down, and I'm so glad only very sturdy notions were chosen. With so many adjustable straps and clips, its easy to feel chunky and cumbersome, but there are elastic loops that help to contain the extra strap length. I think they are genius, (and they make the carrier much safer). Another safety feature is this safety harness that goes around the baby's waist, so that your infant, no matter how slippery or jerky, will never slip out of their safe bundle.
There are pockets smartly placed in the front, and a substantial lumbar support that rests in the small of your back. It is very comfortable and thick, and even helps with your posture. Once you try it on, you'll never want a carrier that doesn't have this.
The exclusive temperature control panel in the front is what make this an all-season carrier. You can keep it zipped up for warmth or unzip it to reveal a breathable mesh fabric layer that will keep you and the baby cool during warm weather.
This outer flap rolls down and is secured with a snap.
The LÍLLÉbaby carriers come with a detachable hood for sunny days and harsh weather. It quickly attaches with buckles and snaps at the top with several different places for a custom fit.
The LÍLLÉbaby carriers have 6 different carry positions, offering a comfortable and safe carry for the parent and the baby from 7 to 45 pounds! Different positions require either a wide seat and a narrow seat, and going back and forth between the two is as easy as unsnapping flaps, pulling the belt through the loops, and re-snapping.
I love how this fetal position allows the baby to curl up tight and close right up against my chest, while offering excellent head support for infants or even for older babies asleep on your chest. The amount of support is adjustable with elastic straps, and you could even nurse your baby while in the carrier by loosening the adjustment buckles on the side. The Face In W/Infant position is ideal for newborns and up.
As soon as the baby can strongly support her head upright (ideally 6 months), I can't wait to try out the other positions: Face Forward, Face In w/Wide Seat, Hip Carry, and Back Carry.
I have only praises to sing about this baby carrier, except that the black fabric seems to pick up a lot of lint, but because it is machine washable, I'm not worried. I feel like my baby is completely safe inside this carrier, and I am incredible pleased with how it supports my shoulders and back from strain. I think a lot of detail and obvious testing went into making this a supreme piece of baby equipment. The versatility and the numerous ways to obtain a customized fit make this a brand that I will definitely be recommending to other moms. I am going to wear the heck out of this!

As a great aunt to be I have been looking for the perfect baby gift and I think I may have found it. My last nephew was born almost 30 years ago. They did not have baby carrier like this. The child looks like they would be so content and happy their. I have always looked at mothers and wonder how they managed to carry that extra weight like they did with easy.
