    PackIt Coolers

Traveling with a little one is tough. There are so many things to I need to carry with me so I'm always looking for products that will make my life a little easier. When I saw PackIt Coolers, I knew I wanted to try them!

When I'm on the road with my little guy I like to make sure he has yogurt and fresh, homemade purees to eat. Just because we're going to be out for the day or visiting grandparents doesn't mean I want to alter what I'm feeding him. But, finding a cooler that actually kept his food chilled and was easy to travel with was proving to be a difficult task. The PackIt Personal Cooler turned out to be the perfect solution!

PackIt is an innovative line of freezable snack, lunch, grocery and wine bags. All of their products have a freezable gel liner that is directly integrated into the bag. PackIt bags fold super compactly for storage right in your freezer. When you're ready to go, just pull them out and the walls of the bag are completely frozen, keeping your food and drinks cold for up to 10 hours!

The PackIt Personal Cooler is perfect for school, work, long car rides, the beach - where ever and whenever you need to keep your food cold! The bag measures 8” x 10” x 5” (8” x 5” x 2” folded).

    PackIT Coolers

Here are some of the great features of the PackIt Personal Cooler:

    PackIT Coolers

The PackIt Personal Cooler is the perfect size for either a child's or adult's lunch and it holds a lot of food! In the photos below you can see how much food I was able to pack for a trip with the baby and an average lunch for my husband. In the baby's bag, I was able to fit 2 eight ounce bottles, a large reusable food pouch, 2 small frozen puree containers, 3 servings of yogurt, and fresh fruit in his mesh teether. All that, and I still had room to spare!

    PackIT Coolers

Per the directions, we stored the PackIt Personal Cooler in our freezer for 12 hours. When we were ready to hit the road, we just packed it up and that was it! It kept our food cold for the entire day. We returned home about 7 hours later and although we had consumed everything in the bag, the reusable containers we put back in there were definitely still chilled.

There is a patented eco-gel liner built right into the bag to keep your food cold for up to 10 hours. This completely eliminates the need for ice cubes or toxic gel packs. PackIt bags are PVC-free, lead-free, BPA-free, non-toxic, Earth friendly, and reusable! I love being able to provide my family with healthy, fresh foods and not have to worry about them spoiling. By packing a lunch rather than eating out at lunch time it also saves our family money. With PackIt reusable backs you can be eco-friendly, save money, eat healthy, and look stylish while you're at it!

EDIT 10/25/14: I just wanted to add that we've been using these bags for over a year now and we still love them! They are so functional and handy to have stored in the freezer.

Buy It: You can purchase PackIt Coolers on Amazom.com. Be sure to search around because they've got a huge selection and several styles and sizes available.

What do you think about the PackIt Personal Cooler?
What would you use it for?

I love that the whole thing just goes in the freezer! That way you don't have to waste space with those little blue things! Awesome idea!

I love that they fold for easy storage in the freezer and that the freezer gel is in the bag and not a separate piece to keep up with.
I would use this often for baby bottles, food, and snacks and it would definitely come in handy on those road trips to see the in-laws.

This is so much cuter than the lunchbox we have now!

I sure wish I could have had this cooler when my son was a baby and beyond those years as well. Ice is a cumbersome way to get things cold in the car, at the beach or even inside the car or home. I like it that these can be used for lunches for everyone. Excellent product.

I usually take a bottle of water with me every time I get in a car. It's a habit. Having one of these would keep it cold plus I could put a snack in it too.

I am very impresed with PackIt Coolers. I especially like the fact that the coolness lasts up to 10 hours. This allows for a lot of travel and playtime for children and adults as well.

I was just reading about this nice cooler as my hubby and I go on drives a lot of times and we take along a small cooler to put extra water, and some snacks in. This one sounds really nice that it can be so compact and be stored in the freezer to keep it cold for a longer time. I am going to shop around and research to see where these coolers may be sold at and hopefully somewhere in our local town.... Thanks for sharing this review. Great info .
