Are you expecting in 2017? Or maybe you're shopping for a baby shower gift? I'm covering the best baby products for 2017 from car seats to strollers and everything in between!
Last month, I had the opportunity to attend one of the largest baby and kids trade shows in the country. The ABC Kids Expo is held annually in Las Vegas and I’ve wanted to attend for the past 4 years, but this year I was finally able to make it happen. Brands from all over the globe convene at the Las Vegas Convention center to show off what’s new in the world of baby and kid gear. I’ve used and reviewed a lot (and I mean a lot) of gear over the past 4 years, so I couldn’t wait to see what was new to market and coming to market for 2017. Without further ado, I’d like to share the best baby products for 2017. I'm also including links to our affiliate Amazon so you can shop the products and read more reviews.
If you're expecting a baby this year, I'd highly recommend starting an baby registry on Amazon so you can start saving your top picks. It's completely free and a great way to stay organized and curate your baby registry from around the web. Check out my post about what to include on your Amazon baby registry for even more suggestions and tips.

Best Baby Products for 2017 - Strollers
Britax B-Ready 2017 - I loved my 2013 Britax B-Ready, but it was a little on the large side for me since I was using it as a single stroller. Now that I'm in full double stroller mode, I was thrilled to see an updated B-Ready for 2017. It's definitely one of the best baby products for 2017. It's got a smaller footprint so it's more compact, but it still folds with both seats attached (which is a huge benefit when you’re trying to manage two little ones and get your stroller in the car). It's also SUPER stylish with its slick black frame. There are 12 seating configurations when paired with the B-Ready Bassinet, Britax infant car seats, or the B-Ready 2nd Seat (all sold separately). It's available in 5 beautiful colors for $499. You can see my full review of this amazing stroller here!
mamas & papas Ocarro - I’m a big mamas & papas fan (and still love my mamas and papas Urbo2) and their new Ocarro looks fantastic. It will be coming to market in the spring of 2017 and it's like having the best of both worlds from the Armadillo Flip and Urbo2 (functionality and super compact fold like the Armadillo, but highly stylized like the Urbo2).
The Ocarro was designed to take you wherever you need to go. It's got big wheels and dual suspension so it can handle busy city streets, quiet parks and the rough and tumble of off-roading. With a plush seat and pillow, baby will be comfortable no matter where your next adventure takes you, plus the seat lies flat to supports natural, healthy sleep. There will also be an optional bassinet available. Stay tuned for pricing information.
4moms Moxi - For the tech-loving moms and dads, the 4 moms Moxi is a super cool new stroller. Not only is the stroller sleek and modern, which is right in line with the 4moms brand, it features a dashboard that tracks your mileage and it even charges your phone while you’re on the go. it also has headlights and taillights to ensure your visibility in low light conditions.
The 4moms Moxi is available for purchase at a price point of $699. There are adapters available for the 4moms infant car seat and Maxi Cosi.
Say hello to the Wave. This high-end stroller will come with a carry cot (or bassinet) and infant/toddler seat. That way it will work for one child from infancy to toddlerhood, then it transitions into a double stroller to accommodate your second child. You can use the included bassinet at first, then purchase a second seat for baby #2 once you need it. You can also use this right away with twins by utilizing two carry cots or 2 Simplicity car seats. Keep an eye out for the 2017 release date and price.
Baby Jogger City Tour - I love a stroller with a compact fold. It’s one of the most important features for me, so I was thrilled to see the City Tour from Baby Jogger.
The Baby Jogger City Tour is lightweight at only 14 pounds and it comes with it’s own carrying case so you quickly pack it away and wear it as a backpack. If you’re a family that travels often, this would be perfect for air travel since it will fit in the overhead bin without a problem. The City Tour stroller is a fully featured lightweight stroller that includes a near flat recline, UV 50+ extended canopy, and a comfortable, padded seat. It's available in 5 vibrant colors for only $199.
Austlen Entourage - For parents that need a bit of growing room, the Austlen Entourage has over 30 configurations to meet their needs.
I was finally able to see this stroller in person and it did not disappoint. The cargo room on this stroller is unmatched and makes it so versatile, especially since it can hold up to 150 of cargo (children included). It's got 3 stages of expansion with the included market tote, but you can also purchase a second child seat or jump seat for older kids. The Entourage starts at $849.
Best baby products for 2017 - Honorable Mention:
Diono Quantum - I've been a fan of Diono car seats for years and they are one of the brands I trust the most. So, I was interested to see that they're getting into the stroller market. I got to play with their new Quantum 7-in-1 multi mode travel stroller and I'm excited to see how it's received once the stroller comes to market. More details to come!
Best Baby Products for 2017 - Car Seats
Graco SnugRide SnugLock - New technology on the SnugRide that we know and love makes this seat revolutionary.
SnugLock base - courtesy of Graco
The new SnugLock makes installation fool proof to ease the minds of new parents and caregivers. What’s even cooler about the SnugLock is that you can Graco SnugRide SnugLock to use with any of your existing Graco ClickConnect models.
4moms Self-Installing Car Seat - There are so many features that are simply amazing that it's almost hard to figure out where to start.
The 4moms Self-Installing Car Seat LITERALLY installs itself. It automatically levels & tensions using the 4moms app (free, but required for auto installation). The car seat then verifies that the installation is still correct and secure before every ride and it monitors continuously during use. There's even a carrier in vehicle alert to reduce the likelihood of leaving a baby in the vehicle.
Diono Infant Seat with anti-rebound bar - This is another new product from Diono, who's known for their slim and safe convertible car seats and boosters. A lot of the details of this seat are still proprietary, but keep an eye out for this one in 2017.
Convertibles and All-in-Ones:
Graco 4Ever Extend2Fit All in One Convertible Car Seat - The 4Ever was designed to be the only car seat you’d ever need since it accommodates children from 4 to 120 pounds.
Even though the AAP recommends that children remain rear-facing until AT LEAST 2 years old (which is now law in some states), parents were feeling like their children’s legs were cramped and turning them forward facing before the age of 2. Graco has solved this problem with their Extend2Fit technology (check out our full review of the Graco Extend2Fit) and they’ve since merged this innovative new feature with their 4Ever model. Now, you can get the best of both worlds - longer rear-facing with an extra 5 inches of legroom and the ability to convert to forward-facing, high back and backless boosters in the future! These updates make it a frontrunner to be one of the best baby products for 2017. It's available for $349.99.
New fashions from Britax for their car seats and boosters:

The ClickTight Convertible Car Seats were unveiled at the 2015 ABC Kids Expo and they are truly, truly AMAZING. I’ve installed many car seats makes and models in my day and the ease of installation is unparalleled (well, there is that self-installing infant car seat from 4moms, but for convertibles, the ClickTight takes the cake). I also LOVE the fact that some of the ClickTight models have the option of adding an anti-rebound bar for added safety.

Best Baby Products for 2017 - High Chairs
Skip Hop Tuo Convertible High Chair - From high chair to toddler chair, the Tuo is the ultimate multi-tasker.
Graco Table2Table - This high chair truly grows with your child (or children actually) since you can use it from birth through toddlerhood. The Table2Table features a recline position for infants, then transitions to traditional high chair and then booster. You can even use it for two children at once. At less than $100 (exclusively at Walmart), this one is pretty amazing.
Best Baby Products for 2017 - Diaper Bags
This is hands-down the CUTEST and smallest diaper bag you've ever seen. It’s ideal for your mini Pink Ladies to care for their dolls and it even comes with a tiny changing pad. Real Pink Ladies can rock this too though since it can easily fit a Be Charged and iPhone 6 or 7 (not a plus though). I bought one for my daughter on release day and she just loves it. You can see that she keeps her teeny tiny Dog in the front pocket. I think her Duchess print coordinates nicely with my Be Classy in Black Magic.
Itzy Ritzy - Not only is Itzy Ritzy coming out with one of the cutest Toki Doki collaborations I’ve seen, but they’re also coming out with a line of diaper bags that look incredibly chic and functional.
I especially love this two tone style with it’s mix of fabrics and textures, and the bottom of the bag has a super durable design so you won’t feel bad about having to put this baby on the floor from time to time.
ToteSavvy Life in Play - I seriously LOVE the idea of the ToteSavvy by Life in Play. I have a fairly large handbag collection and love the idea of using an insert to turn my beautiful handbags into a diaper bag.
Made from a durable nylon twill that's easy to wipe clean, this organizer insert boasts features not found in other purse organizers. ToteSavvy has 11 pockets and includes an insulated bottle pocket, key clasp, changing mat, cell phone pocket, and flat pocket for paperwork. They come in 4 different colors and 2 sizing options.
Best Baby Products for 2017 - Baby Products
You may already be familiar with the DockATot, the multi-functional lounging, playing, chilling, resting and snuggling dock you can take anywhere.
There is simply nothing else like it on the market that allows mothers to feed, soothe, and bond with baby. Well, while we were at the ABC Kids Expo, DockATot announced the CloudTot, a unique baby awakening system, which alerts parents when no motion has been detected for 12 seconds so parents can have more peace of mind. It includes the revolutionary patent-pending Pep Pegs™ device which gently nudges a baby when seconds may matter, something no other product currently provides. Another first is the patent-pending capability to detect moisture within the bedding area, alerting parents when baby is wet. Parents stay connected all the time through their smartphone using an app that is compatible with both Apple iOS and Android. The CloudTot will be available in Spring 2017.
Also from DockATot is the DockATot Grand, which I seriously LOVE and hope to use when we transition our little lady from crib to big girl bed. I think it's genius! It's designed for babies age 9 – 36 months and is perfect for cuddling, playing, lounging, resting and everything in between. It's also great for travel.
Gertie the Good Goose - Move over Sophie, there’s a new lovable toys for baby in town. Gertie the Good Gooses ridiculously cute and has an optional story for your to read to your little one. It’s BPA, Phthalate & PVC free and made of 100% pure natural rubber. You can grab one on Amazon..
aden + anais x Disney Baby: The aden + anais Disney Baby Collectionn combines the magic of muslin with the wonder of Disney. aden + anais swaddles are certainly one of the best baby products for 2017 - and pretty much every year since they came out.
These prints are GORGEOUS and they're available now!
moba - I was instantly attracted to the colors of moba products, especially with their Contemporary Moses Basket display. Designed to be modern, portable, hygienic, eco-friendly and breathable, these baskets are beautiful and can transition to be used after baby outgrows the bassinet stage (think toy storage, laundry basket, etc). They're available for $180 and up. Special thanks to FashionKidzz.com for the image for the main photo!
Best Baby Products for 2017 - for Twins
Maxi-Cosi Dana For2 - I was astonished by the Dana For2 once I saw two infant car seats sitting on it side-by-side.Traveling with twins or close-in-age siblings is simple with this unique double stroller. It’s not only big enough for two children to travel together in comfort, but also maneuvers easily through standard side doorways and other narrow spaces. The Dana For2 can be used as a double travel system from birth with the included Maxi-Cosi infant car seat adapters that let you fit up to two Mico infant car seats at once, plus you can use the Dana For2 in this travel system mode either with or without the stroller seats attached. The Dana For2 will launch in March 2017 and will retail for $399.99.
Graco Modes Duo Stroller - The value packed into this stroller (for $349 or maybe less on Amazon) is UNREAL. There are 27 riding options for two children from infant to youth and it accepts two Graco SnugRide Click Connect Infant Car Seats so it can be used from day 1 as a travel system.
The Graco Modes Duo Stroller comes with two removable, reclining seats that can be positioned multiple ways. There is also a built-in bench seat that gives your big kid a place to rest. Both front and rear seats are full size and hold up to 50 lbs each. The Modes Duo features a one-hand standing fold and it folds with the seats on or off. Oh, and no need to spend extra for more accessories - it comes with a extra-large storage basket, a parent cup holder for on-the-go convenience, and two removable arm bars with two cupholders each.
Cosatto Supa Dupa Double Stroller - I have a thing for Cosatto and I just couldn’t leave their double convenience stroller off this list.
This isn't necessary just for twins; I know my 4.5 year old wouldn't mind cruising with his 1.5 year old sister in a Cosatto. Their designs are so feel-good and bright and Pixelate just makes me feel alive. You can purchase for $499.
TwinGo Carrier - This innovative carrier is actually 3 products in one. You can use it as one twin carrier (with tandem front and back carrier) or as two single carriers. It's available for $214.95.
