What can you make from props and costume pieces from Spirit Halloween? Find out! We put together some fun theme costumes and we'll show you how to do it too!
I have partnered with Spirit Halloween for this post.
Let me preface this post by saying that I have a crazy love for Halloween costumes and I really love a good challenge, so when I heard that Spirit Halloween was doing a "Mystery Box" challenge, I knew I just had to get my hands in this!
Spirit Halloween is the LARGEST Halloween retailer in the U.S., having been in the Halloween business for 32 years and they have over 1,150 locations across North America! They are quite the one-stop shop when it comes to costumes, accessories, decor, and even party goods. For this "What's in the Box?" Challenge, we were sent a variety of their top new items and have been asked to use our imagination to create some costume options!
It looked and felt a LOT like Christmas morning around here! There were so many new favorite items pulled out! Spirit Halloween included some accessories that couldn't be more perfect for little boys who love to play pretend. This boy's face only partially portrays the kind of excitement heard throughout the land when he pulled out a Batman mask!
We tallied up our spoils and were pleased with all our fun options! We immediately started brainstorming options and ideas for some sweet costumes, and I think you're going to love what we come up with.
We decided that we needed a few more accessories to really sell our ideas, so I hit up our local Spirit Halloween store to pick up a few additional props and accessories to really pull all this together! Because the Spirit Halloween stores are organized by theme, it was easy as pie to go right to the section of items I was looking for. I was able to check everything off my list in a matter of minutes, and loved all the visible costume inspiration on display!
I thought I was jumping the gun a little bit in my premature enthusiasm for this holiday, but the Spirit Halloween store was actually full of people also getting excited about their costumes a good five weeks before Halloween! I saw groups of teenagers who had come in with their "dream costume" in mind and a plan of exactly how to pull it together. I saw young families there and heard the familiar squeal of little girls when they see Anna & Elsa dresses hanging up. I also saw some pretty creepy decor and decorations! Some giant hairy spider jumped out in front of me when I stepped on the activator and nearly had a heart attack. Well done, Spirit Halloween.
We are putting together some pretty awesome costumes as we speak! Check back in a week or two and see what we came up with! You can head into your local Spirit Halloween or peruse their online store and start getting ideas for your own killer costumes!
Buy it: You can find these items on the website or in local Spirit Halloween stores.
