As soon as my kids were born, I started wearing them in a baby carrier. There's just something about having them close to me that I love, and they seem to love it too. Now that they're getting older and heavier, I thought it was time to get a carrier that could take us through the toddler and preschool years. Our little guy is almost two and a half years old now but that doesn't mean I'm ready to be done wearing him! He's a fast little guy, and sometimes the most convenient way to get through a busy store or zoo is with him strapped to my back or chest. I can even wear our five year old daughter because the weight limit is 44 pounds and she's only about 38 pounds right now! I don't wear her often because she almost always prefers to walk. Sometimes, though, she just wants that closeness, and I love to wear her while I still can!

The panel on this carrier is the perfect size for toddlers and preschoolers. It's recommended to use the toddler-sized carrier when they're able to sit up on their own. For smaller babies, LennyLamb offers a variety of infant carriers, also. My kids love the large panel and they can keep their arms out or in because of the size.

Our Symphony Rainbow Dark Carrier is Jacquard 100% woven cotton and it is so comfortable. The material molds to the kids' bodies and is very supportive. It may be a little warm to wear on the hottest summer days, but I don't think it will be a big issue.

We love to hike as a family but sometimes our two-year-old has a hard time keeping up. He's also fearless which terrifies me because he will run off without a care. When I'm wearing him, I don't have to worry about what he'll get into or that he'll get tired and cranky. This LennyLamb carrier is so comfortable that he easily falls asleep in it! The attached hood is a nice feature to protect his little head while he naps.
