Toy Story Land officially opened at Walt Disney World's Hollywood Studios this summer, and our family couldn't wait to visit! See all of the amazing new attractions in Toy Story Land at Hollywood Studios. Plus, check out a Disney Junior character breakfast that's sure to be a hit with your kids!
When Disney invited us to visit for Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, we were thrilled to hear that we'd also be able to check out the new Toy Story Land at Hollywood Studios. Our kids love Toy Story so much that last year we made DIY Toy Story Costumes (you'll love my daughter's no-sew Toy Story Jessie Costume) for Halloween! I'd heard there are attractions for both kids and adults in this new land, so we couldn't wait to visit and see it for ourselves. But first, we needed breakfast!
Disney Junior Play 'N Dine at Hollywood & Vine
Our kids are avid Disney Junior fans, so when they heard we'd be having breakfast with some of their favorite stars, they were elated! Disney Junior Play 'N Dine takes place over breakfast at Hollywood & Vine in Disney's Hollywood Studios. While you eat, your favorite Disney Junior characters come around to visit. I'm not sure how they coordinate it, but each table gets a visit from every character during your breakfast slot!
Some of our kids' favorite characters include Doc McStuffins, Goofy from Mickey and the Roadster Racers, and Jake from Jake and the Neverland Pirates! You could see their excitement as each character drew near. Watching things through our kids' eyes is truly one of the best parts of parenting. Our daughter, who is usually very wary around the characters, got over her nerves for a hug from Doc McStuffins!
The breakfast buffet at Hollywood & Vine is fantastic, and there's something for everyone. We never had to wait in a long line, despite the restaurant being full. Plus, the waitstaff are extremely helpful and friendly! Our kids loved the Mickey waffles from the buffet line. I'd absolutely recommend this character breakfast if you're headed to Hollywood Studios.

Toy Story Land at Disney's Hollywood Studios
Located behind Pixar Place at Disney's Hollywood Studios, Toy Story Land opened in the summer of 2018. Toy Story was one of my first favorite Disney Pixar films, and I'm over the moon that I can share it with my kids. We walked into Toy Story Land and immediately saw Buzz Lightyear, Woody, and Jessie! It was so fun to see some of our favorite characters come to life.
Immediately we were drawn to Slinky Dog Dash, a fun-filled family roller coaster! If you look closely, you can see me with my arms up in the third seat back. Our son was riding with me and screamed with glee the entire time!
This rollercoaster is geared for kids 38" and up, and it's got great dips and hills that are even thrilling as an adult!
There are so many iconic things to see at Toy Story Land, and I'm sure next time we visit we'll find things we didn't notice the first time around. Everything is so vibrantly colored! We loved the Alien Swirling Saucers and Toy Story Mania, too-don't miss those next time you visit.
If you find yourself hungry while you're visiting Toy Story Land, check out Woody's Lunch Box for a snack! Ice cream floats are the perfect treat during a hot day at the park.
Disney gifted us with these adorable Toy Story Alien Light-Up Headbands and our daughter couldn't stop giggling when she saw me wearing it. I feel like the aliens from Toy Story are so memorable, it felt like the perfect festive accessory for Toy Story Land!
It's always fun to see the ways that Disney World changes and expands their parks to enhance visitor's experiences. We love the new Toy Story Land and it gives us another reason to visit Hollywood Studios with our kids. Topped with the breakfast at Hollywood & Vine, we had a wonderful day and stuck around the parks to take in Mickey's Not-So-Scary-Halloween Party in the evening!

Kids would get such a kick out of this place. Heck, I would get a kick out of it, too, lol. Love those Mickey Mouse waffles.
