If you're in the market for new tires, I'm sharing why Sam's Club for tires is the best option out there. Sam's Club tire deals are super competitive and there are a lot of perks for purchasing tires at Sam's Club tire center.
Sam's Club Tires and Battery Center
When it comes time to buy new tires, choosing safe tires is obviously the most important factor. But, price, value, my time, and convenience sure come into play when deciding where to purchase. I've partnered with Sam's Club to tell you why Sam's Club Tires are the only choice for me.
On my last visit to my parents' house, my dad came in the house and said, "You need new tires." My response went something like, "Already? I just bought that SUV." My dad quickly reminded me that it'd been almost 3 years and that I needed to start looking for tires as soon as possible. That's the funny thing about time; some days feel so slow, but the years pass in the blink of an eye. I went out to look at the tires and he was right. We could barely even do a penny test (tread depth check) since I had such little tread left. I went back inside and called on Sam's Club for tires.
5 Reasons to Go To Sam's Club For Tires
Price
Sam's Club offers the best "all-in" price on a set of 4 tires and installation, and they'll prove it. With their "Dare to Compare" offer, if you find a better all-in price on Good Year, Michelin, Pirelli, or BF Goodrich then they'll match it. Did you know that buying a matching set of 4 tires better for your car? Tires are designed and constructed to work together, not independently. So, having 4 matching tires working together is what makes your vehicle meet the safety and performance standards promised by vehicle manufacturers. Buying 4 tires is also better for your wallet. You'll save $80 off a set of 4 Goodyear or Pirelli tires every single day at Sam's Club. If you're not sure which kind of tires you need, you can use their tire search feature to find which ones you need based on your vehicle make, model, and trim level.
Value
There are a lot of options when it comes to buying tires, but shopping at Sam's Club for tires gets you the most value for your dollar. Buying tires isn't a one-and-done kind of thing. You have to consider the cost of maintenance for the lifetime of the tires. This is where Sam's Club knocks it out of the park. With your purchase and tire installation package at Sam's Club, you'll get lifetime tire maintenance.
Did someone say lifetime maintenance?
Lifetime maintenance includes balance and tire rotation, flat repairs, road hazard protection, and 24-hour roadside assistance for flat tire assistance. Just looking at balance and rotation, that is a HUGE value over the lifetime of the tires. The average cost of balance and rotation is around $29.99. I chose tires that should last 80,000 miles. If you have your tires rotated every 5,000-6,000 miles, then that's 13 balance and rotations. I'll save almost $390 by doing this at Sam's Club tire center. So, you'll get the best price and save money on maintenance.
Quality
Not only does Sam's Club carry the top brands to ensure your new tires will be high quality, but their technicians are also Michelin certified. They also use state-of-the-art equipment to mount your tires according to your vehicle to the manufacturer's specifications. The technicians performing my tire installation were extremely professional. They told me exactly what I could expect. I was told the service would take about an hour. They were right on the mark.
My technician also reset my SUV's tire pressure sensors for me. I can't tell you how many times I've had the oil changed or the tires rotated and the sensors weren't reset. This left me to hunt for directions on how to do so in my owner's manual.
Along with free tire mounting and tire pressure monitoring system reset, you'll also get a new valve stem if needed and waste tire disposal.
My time
This is a BIG one for me. I've got two little ones with full schedules, a home to run, and a full-time job. I hate wasting even one minute of my day. That's why I love choosing Sam's Club for tires. I can get new tires installed quickly while getting my shopping done. Two birds, one stone; and that's a major win in my book.
Speaking of shopping, I'm not just talking about groceries. I'm talking about running a bunch of errands at one single store. Sam's Club has pretty much everything you could need; groceries, personal care items, household supplies, batteries, furniture, mattresses, toys, electronics, jewelry, baby items, appliances, and more. They also have an array of gift cards for multiple restaurants and stores, photo services, and a full pharmacy, in addition to their auto and tire center.
Convenience
Sam's Club auto and tire center offers appointments (although walk-ins are always welcome too), so you can schedule your tire installation when the time is right for you. I walked in for my appointment and the technician was ready and waiting for me.
Being able to shop while you get your tires installed is not only a time-saver, it's also convenient. Or, if you want to shop ahead of time, you can utilize their super convenient Club Pickup. With Club Pickup, you can order online or through the handy Sam's Club app and an employee will literally do your shopping for you and have your cart ready by the time you get there. You'll even get to skip the checkout line because you can check out in the app, at the kiosk inside the store, or in their Drive-Thru area.
If you're in the market for new tires but don't know where to start, have no fear! Sam’s Club knows that not everyone is a tire expert, so they have a Tire Buying Guide to make this purchase as easy as possible. Be sure to check it out and shop Sam's Club for big savings on the top brands.
