It's no secret that I love Tieks ballet flats. These foldable flats have become a staple in my wardrobe; so much so that my Tieks collection has grown to includes dozens of pairs over the past four years. Not only are these designer flats comfortable, but they're also durable and so fashionable. As I said in my original Tieks review, as a busy mom who still wants to retain some semblance of style, I just can’t get enough of these ballet flats. Tieks are made from the finest Italian leather and are crafted to mold to your feet. I'm always on the move and these shoes allow me to do all the things while still looking chic and sophisticated.

Last fall when Tieks released the Little Miss Tieks collection, I was all in! I ordered both patent leather colors that were available at the time and my daughter was beyond thrilled. After seeing mommy in her stylish Tieks for her entire life, my mini-me was ecstatic to have her own. Then, Tieks released adult versions of Cotton Candy Tieks and Razzleberry Tieks and that made our mommy + me outfits even better! She rocked her little Tieks for well over a year before her feet grew out of them and I have to say that I was super impressed by the durability since they still look great. Thanks to the non-elasticized, cushioned back she was comfortable all day long. Whether she was climbing the slide on the playground or heading to church, she was always happy and looking cute.
In the past year, Tieks also released a new style for their Little Miss Tieks collection, matte black. These classic leather flats are a must-have for me so I knew my little lady would love them too. I went ahead and ordered her Cotton Candy and Matte Black in her new, larger size and she was over the moon when they arrived. What I love about gifting Tieks is that there's no wrapping required. They come perfectly packaged in a Tiek blue box with a flower bow (and check out all of the other things you can expect in the box). The Little Miss Tieks collection even has a special bow with pink, black, and white accents and an adorable butterfly. Bonus, you can use it as a headband for your little lady as we did in the photo below.

Right now, my daughter just loves matching with me and I am totally here for it. I'm sure she won't always want to be matchy-matchy with me so I'm going to savor every outfit and take all the photos!

We are getting a lot of use out of our Matte Black Tieks. They go with almost everything and are going to be perfect for the upcoming holiday season. Give me all the plaid! It pairs so well with Matte Black. What I love about the classic leather of Matte Black is that it's so easy to keep looking good. If you or your daughter gets a scuff, you can just polish your Tieks and they'll look good as new.

Living in Florida, we're also getting a ton of wear out of our matching Cotton Candy Tieks. These are such a great neutral and the sweetest shade of pink. Of course, pairing them with Lilly Pulizer dresses is always good too! The durability of patent leather is just fantastic, especially for little girls. Whenever they get a little dirty, we simply wipe them with a damp cloth. They're really easy to care for (plus, they come with a little care card in the boxwith more helpful tips too!).

Oh, my! I’m a mid-50’s mom of four daughters . The little ones I dressed in “Mommy & Mes” are now 35 & 36! Ironically, we find ourselves dressed as Mom & me often times when we are going out to lunch or shopping! We still buy the same items, quite often by coincidence!
We’re presently cutting and sewing COVID19 face masks to support our shoe habit with Tieks’ generous gift cards for the good deeds we would be doing anyway!
