Little Miss Tieks. The Most Fashionable Ballet Flats for Girls

A few years ago, Tieks posted a photo in honor of Mother's Day and it showed a little girl wearing those gorgeous teal blue bottomed flats. Since I'm such a huge fan of the brand and have many, many pairs of Tieks shoes, I hoped that one day they'd release Tieks for little girls. Little Miss Tieks

I was anxious to see the colors that would be released, and Tieks did not disappoint. They introduced two brand new colors for the Little Miss Tieks collection, Razzleberry and Cotton Candy. Both of these hues come in patent leather, which I've always found to be a bit more durable. The flats for girls are perfectly posh and shiny!

Cotton Candy is just the most perfect shade of pink. It's sweet and is a fantastic neutral for any girl's wardrobe.

Razzleberry is bright and bold. According to Tieks, it's a blend of raspberry reds and pinks with a hint of blackberry purple. I think that description is spot-on.

These Little Miss Tieks come with a custom flower that incorporates the cotton candy pink and razzleberry colors. I seriously love their special edition flowers! These flats for girls also come with a special notecard which the girls can color and a package of crayons. Of course, they'll also come with a Tieks storage tote and the compression bag for storing or traveling with their flats. Ballet Flats for Girls

Little Miss Tieks come in size 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 1 and 2. There's a really handy size chart on the website and I found it to be very accurate. I ordered my daughter both size 7 and 8 since she's right in between sizes and the 8's fit better overall. I was worried they might slip off her feet since she's only 3-years-old, but they stay on perfectly, just like the Tieks I wear.

She was so surprised when she opened them and said, "My very own Tieks!" I'm not sure who was more excited, her or me. All I know is that I could wait to get some photos with her!

 

I know the price may sting a bit, but these are expertly crafted with fine Italian leather, just like the adult size Tieks I know and love. They are seriously adorable!

As far as matching goes, you won't be able to get an exact match with your little miss since Razzleberry and Cotton Candy are exclusive colors for the girls' flats, but you can get close with wearing Fuchsia with Razzleberry and Ballerina Pink with Cotton Candy.

As for maintenance of your Little Miss Tieks, you can easily clean them off with a damp cloth if they get a little dirty. Unlike the classic leathers, you won't be able to polish these since it would create a dull finish on the beautiful patent leather. If you do find yourself with a deep scratch or scuff, you'll likely have to use Angelus leather paints instead.
