Follow along with me as I head to Los Angeles for the Moana Event. I'll be attending the red carpet premiere of Moana and interviewing the cast and talent behind the film. I'll also be attending a special event to celebrate the release of the BFG on Blu-ray + DVD and sharing some behind the scenes looks at ABC Family's Speechless and Dr. Ken.
You know that I LOVE Disney and I'm so excited to share that I'll be heading back to LA from 11/12/16 to 11/15/16 for the #MoanaEvent #TheBFGBluray #ABCTVEvent and #StuckInTheMiddleEvent.
Moana Event
Not only will I be walking the red carpet for the Moana premiere for the #MoanaEvent, I'll also have the chance to interview Lin-Manuel Miranda, Auli’i Cravalho (voice of “Moana”), Dwayne Johnson (voice of “Maui”), Nicole Scherzinger (voice of “Sina”), Directors Ron Clements & John Musker, Producer Osnat Shurer, and singer + songwriter Opetaia Foa’i.
Here's official information about Moana from Disney:
Three thousand years ago, the greatest sailors in the world voyaged across the vast Pacific, discovering the many islands of Oceania. But then, for a millennium, their voyages stopped – and no one knows why.
From Walt Disney Animation Studios comes “Moana,” a sweeping, CG-animated feature film about an adventurous teenager who sails out on a daring mission to save her people. During her journey, Moana (voice of Auli’i Cravalho) meets the once-mighty demigod Maui (voice of Dwayne Johnson), who guides her in her quest to become a master wayfinder. Together, they sail across the open ocean on an action-packed voyage, encountering enormous monsters and impossible odds, and along the way, Moana fulfills the ancient quest of her ancestors and discovers the one thing she’s always sought: her own identity. Directed by the renowned filmmaking team of Ron Clements and John Musker (“The Little Mermaid,” “Aladdin,” “The Princess & the Frog”) and produced by Osnat Shurer (“Lifted,” “One Man Band”), “Moana” sails into U.S. theaters on Nov. 23, 2016.

Moana arrives in theaters everywhere on November 23rd.
We'll also have the chance to view the newest short from Walt Disney Animation Studios, Inner Workings, about the internal struggle between a man's pragmatic, logical side and his free-spirited, adventurous half. It's directed by Leo Matsuda and produced by Sean Lurie and will premiere on November 23, 2016 along with Walt Disney Pictures' Moana.
I'm also going to have the opportunity to promote the release of The BFG on Digital HD, Blu-ray and Disney Movies Anywhere on 11/29/16. We're also going to attend a special brunch with Lucy Dahl, the daughter of Roald Dahl, to talk about The BFG.
About The BFG: Disney and Amblin Entertainment, in association with Walden Media, present the fantasy adventure film “The BFG,” the first-ever motion picture adaptation of Roald Dahl’s resonant tale of childhood, the magic of dreams and the extraordinary friendship between a young girl and a big friendly giant. Directed by three-time Academy Award® winner Steven Spielberg, the film reunites the director with his Oscar®-nominated collaborator on “E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial,” Melissa Mathison, who adapted the children’s author’s timeless adventure for the big screen. This magical tale of an extraordinary friendship loaded with exciting extras will brighten the holidays for the whole family!

We're also going to have some fun at the #ABCTVEvent, touring the sets and meeting the talent of Speechless and Dr. Ken.
Maya DiMeo (Minnie Driver) is a mom on a mission who will do anything for her husband Jimmy, her kids Ray, Dylan, and JJ, her eldest son with cerebral palsy. As Maya fights injustices both real and imagined, the family works to make a new home for themselves, and searches for just the right person to give JJ his "voice."
Speechless stars Minnie Driver as Maya DiMeo, John Ross Bowie as Jimmy DiMeo, Mason Cook as Ray DiMeo, Micah Fowler as JJ DiMeo, Kyla Kennedy as Dylan DiMeo and Cedric Yarbrough as Kenneth.

Speechless airs on Wednesdays at 8:30 PM / 7:30 PM CT.
Doctor turned actor/comedian Ken Jeong (Community, The Hangover), plays Dr. Ken, a brilliant physician with no bedside manner. He is always trying to be a good doctor, as well as a good husband and dad to his two kids. However, these good intentions have a way of driving everyone crazy at both work and at home. Luckily, his therapist wife Allison is just the right partner to keep things sane.
Dr. Ken stars Ken Jeong as Dr. Ken, Suzy Nakamura as Allison, Tisha Campbell-Martin as Damona, Dave Foley as Pat, Jonathan Slavin as Clark, Albert Tsai as Dave and Krista Marie Yu as Molly.
Dr. Ken airs on Fridays at 8:30 PM / 7:30 PM CT.

Of course there will also be some Disney Channel fun too! We'll be sitting down with the Stuck in the Middle cast for an intimate Q&A session with Jenna Ortega (“Harley Diaz”), Ronni Hawk (“Rachel Diaz”), Isaak Presley (“Ethan Diaz”), Ariana Greenblatt (“Daphne Diaz”), Kayla Maisonet (“Georgie Diaz”), Malachi Barton (“Beast Diaz”), Nicholas Bechtel (“Lewie Diaz”), Cerina Vincent (“Suzy Diaz”) and Joe Nieves (“Tom Diaz”).
The family comedy series follows Harley Diaz as she maneuvers her way through the bustle of being a middle child in a family with six other siblings. The heartfelt and comedic stories of a big family find Harley devising creative ways to cope with – and stand out – in her family’s busy suburban Massachusetts household. Her ingenuity often wins the day for the Diaz family, even with many different personalities living under one roof.
