I participated in an Ambassador Program on behalf of Influence Central for Vanity Fair Lingerie. I received product samples to facilitate my review and compensation to thank me for my participation.
This year was pretty exciting for me. In fact, I can't believe that I managed to do so many things and visit so many places. I was able to visit California again, witness my brother-in-law get married in Seattle, take a few trips to Orlando, and fly to New York City for the Vanity Fair Ambassador Summit. We also had a new baby and moved! I'd say that 2015 will go down in the books as one of my busiest years ever, and even though the year was pretty hectic, I learned some valuable lessons that I'll be taking with me as I move into 2016 and beyond.
When I had our baby girl in May, I was surprised all over again at how difficult it was to get things done during the day. Our 3 year old had become increasingly independent and we were in such a great routine that I felt like a pretty good mom at the end of the day. Adding a second baby into the mix threw me for a loop. I was getting a bit discouraged, but then I found out I was accepted into the Vanity Fair Ambassador program. Only 6 weeks after our baby was born I was given the opportunity to fly to NYC to learn more about Vanity Fair and meet my fellow ambassadors. It was exactly what I needed.
In addition to learning about Vanity Fair as a brand and their gorgeous collection of bras and panties that are always on-point with the current season's trends and fashions, I was able to connect with other amazing #WomenWhoDo from all walks of life. This might seem simple, but during one of our meetings the room was decorated with photo frames filled with uplifting quotes from the 25 ambassadors. These quotes were taken from our various blogs, and some of the messages just spoke to me.
I needed a little extra motivation and reassurance that I was doing okay and these quotes uplifted me. That's what #WomenWhoDo is about - celebrating women who dream, inspire, encourage, and persevere. I'm so proud and honored that I was selected to be part of this phenomenal group to share this message and hopefully inspire others.
Another big lesson that I learned at the blogger summit and during my time as a Vanity Fair Ambassador was that I needed to focus on me a little more in order to be the best version of myself. We had a discussion about how often you should refresh your intimates collection, and I realized that I hadn't bought new bras for myself in several years. Considering I'd had two babies and major weight fluctuations, that's pretty bad! Once I was fitted by a Vanity Fair professional and got ahold of Vanity Fair's Women's Beauty Back Full Coverage Underwire Bra, I knew I'd spent way too long wearing bras that didn't fit properly and certainly didn't make me feel great in my clothing.
The Beauty Back bra was a game changer and I promptly bought 8 more during the Vanity Fair Buy One Get One Give One Event to benefit Dress for Success. If you haven't bought new bras in a while, I'd really encourage you to get professionally fitted or use these helpful tips to see if you're wearing the correct bra size (because 8 out of 10 women don't know if they're wearing the right bra size!) and seek out the Beauty Back line. It's my absolute favorite and I think any woman who tries one will see an amazing transformation in her appearance.
Moving forward into 2016, I'm inspired to do even more. As a mother, wife, small business owner, friend, daughter and sister, I know I'll be wearing many hats, but I feel confident that I'll be able to handle it all and look and feel my best while doing it thanks to Vanity Fair.
What do you have planned for 2016?
What lessons did you learn this year that you'll take with you?

I'm glad you find vanity Fair to be an improvement, but you might try measuring yourself to verify your size. I've never been happier with my girls since I left the restrictive bra matrix sizes and started wearing Polish bras! This is a great place for more info. https://www.reddit.com/r/abrathatfits/wiki/measuring
