Summer is just flying by this year! Do you feel the same? We've been enjoying the nice weather in Minnesota and have tried to get out daily to enjoy the sun. I've been packing lunches for the kids so we can avoid the drive-thru, and have had help from our adorable new bento boxes! I've partnered with Stuck On You to share their innovative bento box with you.
Personalized Bento Box from Stuck on You
I'll be honest, I'd never heard of a bento box before I had kids-or at least I hadn't heard of them outside of a restaurant context. I'm the type of person who hates when my food touches, so when I did discover the bento box phenomenon, I was truly excited! Not only do they keep food items separate, they eliminate the need for plastic baggies when packing a meal. Stuck On You offers the most adorable Bento Boxes for kids, and you can even personalize them!
The Bento Boxes are held closed with open/close clips that are easy for kids to use. With a steel pin on the main hinges, they're built to last. While they're not fully waterproof, they do have a silicone seal inside the lid to hold thicker liquids like yogurt and condiments in certain compartments. So just a heads up, you won't want to put soup in this bento box (but really, I don't think that's an issue for most people!). I love the little labels inside the bento box that show suggested food groups to fill!
INSIDE THIS ADORABLE BENTO BOX
This particular time I filled the box, we were heading to the park and I just wanted to bring some snacks along. Check out how much food I fit in the large sized Bento Box from Stuck On You! I filled each box with the following:
- Crackers
- Grapes
- Cherry Tomatoes
- Sliced Cheese
- Seaweed (our kids LOVE it!)
- Tootsie Rolls
When it comes to snacking, our kids are pros! They love to have a variety of options and I like to provide them with nutritious snacks to quell their neverending summer appetites. These Bento Boxes are a great option because I don't have to pack a lunch box with five different baggies of food. Need some inspiration? Check out 400+ Fun and Healthy Lunch Ideas! And did I mention how cute the personalization options are? They've got a variety of colors, designs, and fonts to match any personality.
CARING FOR YOUR BOXES
The divider trays in these Bento Boxes are easy to remove for washing. They're also top-shelf dishwasher safe. BPA and phthalates-free, you can rest assured that your kids are snacking out of a non-toxic container. We've used these Bento Boxes at least three times a week for the past month or so, and they're holding up great to continuous use and washing. Our kids love cracking them open to find out what's inside. They are the best option I've found for eating on-the-go! I think they'd be perfect for school lunches, picnics, camping and road trips, along with daily trips to the park.

I would choose either a light blue or dark blue if I could. I love the pirate image, but I would probably choose something more plain with my kiddo's name on it in the center. These look awesome!!
Ruby Yoshi says
I'd pick the blue color.
Miranda says
I think the blue with the adorable pirate ship! But I'd have to check with my son on his preference.

Hi!? I didn't know there were so many options. It was so much fun to look through! I *think* my son would choose the light blue bento box with the world holding the flag if he won. But I'm not sure... and that's part of the fun - letting the kiddo look through the options and seeing what they choose themselves!♡
Thank you for this chance!
