Do you love virtual reality games? If so, I've got good news! There's a new Ralph Breaks VR experience coming to Disney Springs at Walt Disney World and Disneyland. Thanks to Disney Studios for inviting me to try out the Ralph Breaks VR project at The VOID.
After the successful partnership between Disney and Lucasfilm’s ILMxLAB and The VOID for the Star Wars: Secrets of the Empire hyper-reality experience, I was excited to hear that Wreck-It Ralph fans would get to have a fun virtual reality experience too. They Combine state-of-the art VR technology, physical stages and multi-sensory effects, including touch and smell, with Hollywood characters and storylines to fully immerse fans into a world they could have only imagined before. On my recent trip to Hollywood for the Ralph Breaks The Internet world premiere, I got to stop by The VOID to try out the brand new Ralph Breaks VR project. This new multi-sensory experience promised to be quite the adventure and I couldn't wait to see if it lived up to the hype.

In Ralph Breaks The Internet, our favorite bad guy, and his candy-loving sidekick are thrust into the worldwide web. In the Ralph Breaks VR experience, fans can walk right alongside Ralph and Vanellope as they explore the internet and world online gaming. In teams of 4, guests will break into the internet with Wreck-It Ralph and Vanellope von Schweetz disguised as characters from the film called “Netizens” to play the newest, coolest video game ever. You'll also meet two brand new locations, Dunderdome and Pancake Milkshake Diner, and a new antagonist, B.E.V. (voiced by writer Pamela Ribon), which stands for “Built to Eradicate Viruses.”

The best part? It's a fun competition! Each player wears a backpack with the VR equipment, helmet with goggles and gets to grab a laser once inside to shoot their way through the virtual world and score points. We hurled milkshakes and pancakes at the virtual characters for points and had SO. MUCH. FUN!
