Sonic the Hedgehog is back! A new live-action adventure comedy based on the global blockbuster videogame franchise from Sega is hitting the theaters this November and I've got your first look at the Sonic The Hedgehog trailer and poster!
I don't know about you, but I spent countless hours on my Sega Genesis playing Sonic The Hedgehog. It was my favorite Sega game and I just loved that sassy and mischevious blue hedgehog. I can't wait to introduce my kids to Sonic, and thankfully I won't have to wait too much longer.
The live-action Sonic The Hedgehog film follows the (mis)adventures of Sonic as he navigates the complexities of life on Earth with his newfound – human – best friend Tom Wachowski (James Marsden). Sonic and Tom join forces to try and stop the villainous Dr. Robotnik (Jim Carrey) from capturing Sonic and using his immense powers for world domination. The film also stars Tika Sumpter and Ben Schwartz as the voice of Sonic.
It's going to be good to see Jim Carrey back on the big screen. His character, Dr. Robotnik, looks pretty funny (just check out the Sonic the Hedgehog trailer below!). It's going to be interesting to get the backstory on Sonic and see how he came to Earth and how he adjusts. I know my little guy is going to love this movie since it looks action-packed and full of humor.
