We are so done with winter over here! It's been long and it's been snowy. I couldn't be more ready to pack up all the boots and snow pants for a few seasons, but thinking about it got me wondering where my kids stood in regards to footwear for this upcoming spring. I first thought of See Kai Run because they always have my back when it comes to seasonally appropriate footwear for my kids. I'm excited to share some of my favorite and new styles from See Kai Run!
Our favorite pair is the NEW water-friendly sneaker which you'll see my daughter sporting below, but there are a few other styles to show you first, starting with these awesome slip-ons!
Whenever new shoes are needed, I start with my oldest who is in 1st grade, because he is roughest on his shoes and there is typically nothing in the house that fits him. He's going a lot of places and doing a lot of things so durability is important. Plus, style is starting to matter to him. When I showed him these Slater slip-on shoes, he needed no convincing. They were definitely cool enough for 1st grade as far as he was concerned.
He loves the slip-on feature, especially when he's dashing to catch the bus and doesn't have time for laces. I love the rubber toe for added protection on the playground. You'll also notice the aerated sole to keep them breathable, since these won't always be worn with socks.
The colors are bright and boy-ish and the stitching looks tight and clean. The orange elastic panels on both sides allow him to slip these on easily, but they also stay on securely, which is important since they don't have laces.
The soles are nicely textured for safety and the entire composition of the shoe feels very sturdy to me.
I think most of all, I love how these shoes are going to look great with any outfit. Jeans or shorts, brights or neutrals, these are going to coordinate well and look fantastic. My son says they are one of his most comfortable shoes and I think there couldn't be a better shoe for him this Spring!
My next son was really needing some water shoes for this Spring. There is a new water park up the street that we can't wait to visit, but without a good pair of water-friendly shoes, he wasn't going to be able to run wild without me worrying about his feet being protected. Of course, See Kai Run has a great solution!
See Kai Run makes some fantastic sporty closed-toed sandals that should give every mother peace of mind if their kids love water activities. These are the Lincoln III shoes and they come in gray/red and blue/orange.
They sport a terrifically thick sole that is flexible and lightweight while still being very supportive for active play. These shoes are made from water-friendly materials so they can be worn through rain puddles, lawn sprinklers, wading ponds, etc. without any worry!
Notice that these are also machine washable! Hurray! I'm glad I'll be able to keep these sandals looking new and bright.
Lastly, notice how there are two areas of adjustment -- on the side and back -- to allow for easy removal as well as a custom and secure fit, which is important if there is a possibility of loosing footwear in rapids or on water slides!
And now on to the really cute footwear! Introducing the all-new Saylor water-friendly sneakers!
My daughter is notorious for finding puddles and splashing the life out of them. Her shoes haven't lasted long in the past, and they've never smelled very good either. We are so excited about trying out these breathable and water-friendly sneakers! I think they're going to be fantastic for her.
First of all, they are completely toddler friendly in that they are easy to get on without any laces to tie. They go on and off with only one hook and eye strap, while the white "laces" are actually elastic, which help keep the shoes securely on toddler feet.
The sides and the tops of the shoes are mesh and completely breathable while still protective. The construction is excellent, sewn with darling stitches, and composed of all water-friendly materials.
My daughter grew attached to these sneakers the moment she saw them! She loves being able to take them on and off herself without tying laces and the pink and purple colors couldn't be cuter.
I get the feeling these are going to be worn ALL spring/summer, and that's perfectly fine with me! I'm glad that she'll be able to enjoy all the water activities she likes and I won't worry about her footwear.
While the little baby won't be out and about at the water park this summer, she will probably start gaining some mobility, so we wanted to be prepared with some cute crib shoes!
Could these Silver Glitter Cruz shoes be any cuter?! I'm dying over the pink and glitter!
The thing I love about the See Kai Run crib shoes is that they stay on baby feet so well. They are difficult to kick off because of the high placement of the strap and how secure they are around the ankle. The small amount of traction on the bottom will be great for those first steps.
The fashionable glitter textile goes great with everything! They look great with every casual outfit she owns but they also look dressy enough to wear with dresses to church. If you have a baby, you have to go check out See Kai Run's other crib shoes! The the new styles and prints are all to die for!
So are we set for Spring or what?! Bring on the water activities, warm weather, and sunshine! If you're looking for the best quality children's footwear in the cutest styles and finest construction, absolutely check out See Kai Run and their new Spring collection!
