A pair of ballet flats fit for a queen; that phrase perfectly describes Sapphire Tieks. I'm showing you these beautiful patent leather ballet flats and how I'm styling them.
It's been well established that I've got an obsession with Tieks. I won't go into all the reasons why I love these designer flats so much since I covered that in my full Tieks review, but let's just say they're they're the only brand of flats that I wear. In fact, I've acquired so many pairs over of the past 2 years that I published a Tieks comparison post of many popular colors so you could see side by side photos.
If you're part of the Tieks community, you know that new release time is very exciting. There's lots of speculation about which color or print would make a fabulous addition to the Boutiek. After the release of Red Diamond over Black Friday weekend in 2017, many women were hoping for an Emerald or Sapphire release and I'm thrilled that team Sapphire got its wish!
Most of the new releases over the past year have been coming with a special flower or box topper. Many of us were enamored with the box topper from Red Diamond and I'm absolutely in love with the special bejeweled Sapphire box topper.
Isn't it gorgeous?
After seeing the topper, I had high expectations for the shoes and I wasn't disappointed. These ballet flats are absolutely stunning in person. I couldn't believe how rich and regal the color is.
I couldn't wait to get these sapphire blue flats on my feet. Like my other Tieks, they were comfortable right out of the box. They're made of patent full-grain Italian leathers and have the non-elasticized, cushioned back that I know and love.
I love the contrast between the Tiek blue non-slip rubber soles and the shiny patent leather.
I tried to capture lots of different angles and exposures for you so you could see the rich color in all its glory.
Since I already have Cobalt Tieks, I was wondering how these would compare. If you want to see a side-by-side shot of those, be sure to visit my post about how to pick the perfect pair of Tieks shoes to see that picture and several others. I really enjoy my Cobalts, but there is just something about these Sapphire Tieks! The color is a bit deeper and more saturated. It's true love for me.

One thing I love about patent leather is the ability to dress it up or down. You can wear these Sapphire flats with a dress, with business attire, or very casually with jeans and a t-shirt.
