No Yolks noddles are one of our favorite staples when we're making family meals that everyone loves. The noodles are so versatile that I like to always have some on hand for dinner inspiration. We even like using the noodles for craft projects, and today we're sharing an idea of how to make Santa ornaments! Enjoy our free printable and ornament idea.
I'm not the best menu-planner in the world. I like having a general idea of what kinds of meals I could bust out in the upcoming week, but I also like to have a little wiggle room to throw together something that sounds good at the moment. For those types of meals to be successful, I have to have a decent supply of useful ingredients on hand, which is exactly why I like to have a healthy stock of No Yolks noodles in the pantry.
There are so many directions you can go with No Yolks noodles. Beyond the traditional soups, casseroles, and stroganoff, have you thought of making Pad Thai, Noodle Cups, or even Buffalo Chicken Alfredo? Because No Yolks noodles are high quality and they always cook up smooth, firm, and fluffy, they are reliable in all sorts of cuisines. Plus, they come in a variety of cuts that work well in all sorts of recipes, including Fine, Broad, Extra Broad, Dumplings, Kluski, and even Stir-Fry.
What really makes No Yolks a great ingredient for the family is how they are made from egg whites, so there is no cholesterol and they remain low in fat and sodium. I don't have any concerns about serving this healthy egg noodle alternative to my family several days a week.
We like to eat No Yolks in all sorts of ways, and when I always have No Yolks on hand, my weekday cooking schedule can be flexible. If we're in the mood for soup, like Miso or French Onion, I've got the noodles! If the weather calls for a warm casserole, No Yolks noodles is the perfect base. If I'm feeling a little adventurous and want to try something new and unexpected, I can start with No Yolks. Most of the time, the kids like to eat No Yolks noodles with a dab of butter and salt and pepper. My favorite way to eat them is in Chicken Noodle Soup, using the Dumpling variety because they fill up the whole spoon! I'd love to try a stir fry this week, or perhaps Sriracha Cheesy Noodles and Noodles with Kale and Walnut Pesto. These recipes are among the "No Yolks Not Your Momma’s Recipe Videos" on their website! Go check them out!
With all the No Yolks noodles in the house, my toddler and I came up with a fun holiday craft idea using the broad noodles! Start with this free printable template below for the Santa face. You should be able to print this out on a 8.5" x 11" size sheet of paper and create the same size ornament as I did, but feel free to adjust the size if you want smaller or larger Santas.
I recommend printing this on a piece of white cardstock instead of printer paper. Next, grab a handful of the broad No Yolks noodles and glue.
You can use regular non-toxic craft glue to attach the noodles as beard strands.
When the glue is dry, color the nose, skin, and hat with crayons, markers, or paint. I used basic acrylic paint. If you are crafting with very little children, I'd suggest doing the coloring first! This way they won't get their hands in the glue or knock off the noodles while they color.

Then cut it out, add some black and white gingham ribbon, and hang it on the tree! So easy and very fun to make! Pick up some No Yolks noodles while you're out, and feel free to use this $.50 off coupon!
