Check out the Petunia Pickle Bottom Hideaway Hobo Diaper Bag!

    Hideaway Hobo

Before I had my little guy I searched high and low for THE best diaper bag. I wanted to be a fashionable mom and wasn't thrilled about turning in my designer purses for baby bags. I ended up purchasing quite a few bags before he was born based on looks alone, but my biggest splurge cost over $300 and I was just sure it was "the one". Fast forward a few weeks - it was insanely heavy and it was just too big. I quickly retired it to the closet to be used as an overnight bag. That's the thing about diaper bags - they need to be functional. When you're running around with your kid(s) in tow, functionality trumps everything - even looks. Luckily, thanks to Petunia Pickle Bottom, you don't need to trade style for function - you can have it all.

I'd been eyeing the Petunia Pickle Bottom Hideaway Hobo since it's release last fall. Fall 2014 was fantastic for Petunia Pickle Bottom (you may remember that I reviewed their Wistful Weekender in Earl Grey Chenille) and I just couldn't get enough of the new prints and styles. I decided I should give the Hideaway Hobo a try and I got a great deal on their website.

Even after looking at the photos posted on their site and those posted on social media, I wasn't sure how big the Hideaway Hobo would be. I was pleasantly surprised when it arrived! If you're interested in this bag, I made a quick video to show the features and how I pack it on a daily basis (I'd highly recommend a Petunia Pickle Bottom Powder Room Case or two to help you stay organized).

Check out my video review of the Hideaway Hobo:

If you're interested in the Hideaway Hobo, you can purchase it on Amazon ranging from $130 to its retail value of $179. You can get the Powder Room Case on Amazon for for $23-$28.

What do you think of the Hideaway Hobo?
Do you think this would be a great fit for you?

Please be sure to sign up for their emails about 2-4x's a year they have petuniaoutlet.com sales. The prices are anywhere from 25-80% off. I was ecstatic to get a cake bag that originally sold for over $350 for less than $100.

I LOVE PPB ~ my love for them started when I was gifted a CAKE bag for my second son... and now I get their emails so I can learn when the outlet sales (which are much more in line with my budget and my love for all PPB)... these bags are well made, gorgeous (ie. get compliments on mine all the time), and practical. What's more to want in a diaper bag 😉

Diaper bags didn't look this good when my kids were babies.

It is nice but yeah, a little out of my price range and so are the designer bags.
