Summer is here, so naturally, I'm spending more time outdoors. If you've got lots of outdoor adventures on your summer bucket list then you'll want to stock up on these awesome products.
Outdoor Adventures for Exercisers
I am an avid exerciser and have been attending HIIT boot camps for years now. Between those classes and running, it's fair to say that I'm pretty fit. However, this summer I've found it challenging to make it to the gym routinely. Most days, my kids are home with me and don't want to sit in the childcare area. So, I've had to pivot to doing more at-home workouts. That's why I was thrilled to see The Workout Bucket List book arrive on my doorstep.
This book was written by Greg Presto and published by Running Press. It contains over 300 life-changing activities that will motivate and inspire anyone who wants to shake up their fitness routine. This unique book provides a bucket list of super fun races, challenges, hikes, bikes, runs, and even some weightlifting workouts.
The Workout Bucket List promises that exercise can, and will, be fun again if you're just willing to try. Travelers will love this book since they'll be inspired to work out at some of the most epic sights around the globe. But, even homebodies will love this book for fun and challenging at-home workouts. I love the humor infused through the book and pop-culture references. It makes for an entertaining and charming read.
Refuel After the Heat with CORE Foods
After a challenging workout, I love to refuel with a snack. CORE Bars are a perfect choice. CORE Foods knows it all starts with your core; meaning your gut. Your immunity, health, and overall wellness all start in your core, and that's why they create snacks that do more for your core.
CORE Bars are plant-based, organic bars with a combination of probiotics and prebiotic fiber. This combo provides serious nutrition and immune support. These refrigerated bars are available in yummy flavors like Peanut Butter Chocolate, Peanut Butter Crunch, Blueberry Banana Almond, Dark Chocolate Cherry, and Coconut Chocolate Chip.
Not only do these bars taste great, but they've also got functional ingredients to increase gut health, immunity, and wellness. As someone who tried to maintain a dairy-free lifestyle, I love that these bars are plant-based and vegan. They're also gluten-free and Non-GMO Project verified.
CORE Bars are stored in the refrigerator, but don't fret if you need them while you're out and about. They're good on the go for up to one week. They're perfect for slipping into my bag so I never have to worry about a snack attack while I'm running around. You can find CORE Bars in the refrigerated section of the grocery store, on Amazon, or on their website. Be sure to use the CORE Foods discount code SUMMER20 for 20% off!
Lily of the Desert Must-Haves for Summer
As a Floridian, I know the value of Aloe vera. So, I was excited to see Lily of the Desert products in my BabbleBoxx. They're the number 1 selling Aloe vera products manufacturer with more than 50 years in the business.
The 99% Aloe Vera Gelly that's made from organically-grown aloe vera is a customer favorite for good reason. This multi-purpose gelly can be used to soothe, hydrate, and moisturize your skin. Think daily moisturizer, shaving gel, scalp soother, styling gel... you get the picture. It can handle all your skin care needs. It does way more than just soothe tender skin after a sunburn. It can hydrate a minimum of 3 epidermal layers so it truly moisturizes and the 4-ounce size means you can take it with you on all your outdoor adventures.
Another awesome Lily of the Desert product I received was EcoDrink Naturals. This is the perfect additive to help everyone optimize their hydration during these hot summer months, especially while exploring the outdoors. EcoDrink Naturals contains 28 highly absorbable vitamins, minerals, and nutrients, including key electrolytes, including 100% of your daily vitamins A, C, D, E, B7, and B12. This means these little packets can help support energy, metabolism, brain health, eye health, skin health, and bone health, all while keeping you hydrated.
I received the 24-pack of Strawberry Lemonade stick packets and I've been taking them everywhere with me. I simply add a packet to a bottle of water and mix. Staying hydrated has never tasted this good. EcoDrink Naturals is naturally sweetened with high-quality Stevia and contains no added sugar. It's also caffeine-free, gluten-free, and contains no artificial colors or sweeteners.
SOLO Brand for Summer Soirees
Spending time outdoors is almost synonymous with SOLO cups. Particularly, the classic red SOLO cup. SOLO brand has come a long way over the years, with so many beautiful and useful designs.
SOLO 18-ounce printed clear cups are perfect for summer entertaining and outdoor use. They offer a touch of class with their crystal-clear clarity and vibrant prints. These cups are perfect for serving my favorite summer drink, an Italian Margarita. And, since the cups are shatter-resistant I can enjoy drinks right by the pool.
The cups also match well with SOLO paper plates that are strong and sturdy. The plates are soak-proof and stand up even to the toughest grease. What I really love about SOLO is that you can achieve an elevated look but clean-up is still a breeze.
Go From Indoors to Outdoors with Staheekum
Maybe slippers don't come to mind when you think of outdoor adventures, but I bet Staheekum would change your view. This Pacific Northwest brand has been designing shoes with adventure in mind since 1998.
Let me preface this by saying, I love a good pair of slippers. In Florida, our homes are mostly tile and I just can't walk on hard tile floors all day so I usually depend on slippers or house shoes when I'm at home. I've gone through dozens of pairs over the years and the perfect ones have always seemed a bit elusive. I got the opportunity to try the Staheekum Women’s Summit & Go Slipper in Honey and I think I've found "the ones."
These are now my go-to slip-on house shoes. The honey-colored corduroy textile upper makes them look a bit rugged, but the memory foam insole makes them feel like a cloud. The indoor/outdoor insoles mean that I can wear them around the house or outside while walking my puppy or grabbing the mail. The lining is even crafted from recycled water bottles, which is a huge plus in my book. I found they're generally true to size. I'm a size 8.5 in most shoes and a 9 in athletic shoes. These slippers come in whole sizes so I chose a 9 and they fit well. They're a little roomy but I like that I have enough room for a cozy pair of socks.
In keeping with their environmentally friendly attitude, for every pair of shoes sold on their website, a tree is planted through Trees for the Future. Want to try a pair of Staheekum slippers for men and women? Use code BBOXX22 to save 10%!
