A few weeks ago a lovely package arrived on my doorstep from Mommy's Club. If you're not familiar with them, let me tell you a little about this great company. Mommy's Club is a membership buying club that offers personal health, household and body care products made with all-natural, organic, and toxic-free ingredients. They've become a trusted resource for information on toxic-free living for like-minded individuals who want to make their home a healthier place to raise their families. That's not all though; Mommy's Club is also a business opportunity for those who use and enjoy the products and want to share them with friends and family.
Mommy's Club products are free of toxins, non-GMO and areBPA free. They're also vegan and never tested on animals. Plus, these wonderful products are MADE IN THE USA! As a blogger, I get to review a lot of skin care and household products, but reading all of these great things about Mommy's Club, I was really eager to try their line of products.
Mommy's Club sent me their "All in" Bundle for review (at no cost to facilitate this post):
When I first opened the box, I noticed two large burlap sacks full of products. The Mommy's Club All in Bundle includes two different sets of products: health (vitamins) and personal care (skin care).
Let me start by discussing the vitamins:
The set includes 5 different vitamin supplements:
- 1 Cherry Chewable Multivitamin for Children with Daily Probiotic
- 1 Total Body Health for Children with Multivitamin 16 oz.
- 1 Total Body Health with Multivitamin 32 oz
- 1 Pre-natal Plus 16 oz
- 1 Advance Omega 3/6/9 Natural lemon Flavored 8 oz
I started off testing the children's supplements. Since my little guy is a bit too young for these kinds of vitamins, I decided to try them out myself. The chewable pills were a bit on the larger side than a lot of those lovable cartoon vitamins on the market, but they're pretty easy to chew and tasted good! Very similar to multivitamin chewables I had as a kid but without any strong, lingering aftertaste. They were also gentle on my stomach. I love the daily probiotic aspect of these vitamins too. It's a great all-in-one combination.
Next, I moved onto the adult liquid supplements. The Total Body Health with Multi-Vitamin and Pre-Natal Plus were pretty similar in taste, text, scent, and color. The directions state that the vitamins can be taken alone or mixed with juice for better taste. I took them straight the first few days, but the aftertaste of iron was a little strong for my preference so I began mixing them with juice. Taking them was much easier after that! They were surprisingly gentle on my stomach, especially compared to the prenatal vitamins I took while pregnant. The liquid vitamins need to be refrigerated after opening and this actually helped me remember to take them. Once I opened the refrigerator door and saw them there I took them much more regularly than any other vitamin I've taken before. I was really, really hesitant to try the Omega 3/6/9 liquid, but I gave it and it was actually palatable! The taste was reminiscent of lemon meringue.
Next, I worked through the personal care products. This set includes:
- 4 Perfect Touch Sanitizers 1 oz
- 2 Perfect Touch Sanitizers 4 oz
- 1 Daily Cleansing Foam 7 oz
- 1 Baby Foaming Wash 7 oz
- 1 Baby Shampoo 8 oz
- 1 Baby Lotion 8 oz
- 1 Rash & Remedy Skin Relief 1 oz
The sanitizers and Daily Cleansing Foam are really excellent. I love their gentle, oxygen based formulations. They don't dry out my skin like the anti-bacterial soaps and alcohol based sanitizers I'm used to using. The small Perfect Touch sanitizers are perfect for carrying in your purse, diaper bag, or car. I love how portable they are.
Last but certainly not least are the baby products. Oh, how I love these products! I've been trying to stay away from chemical laden baby bath and body products and the Mommy's Club Baby Shampoo and Baby Foaming Wash are exactly what I've been looking for. They're 100% toxic-free and hypoallergenic, plus they're exceptionally mild. The baby shampoo leaves a nice, mild scent on baby and the foaming wash is gentle on that tender baby skin. The lotion also leaves an authentic lavender scent on baby.
Overall, I'm really happy with the products I received from Mommy's Club. If you're looking for products to make your family and home healthier you should definitely check them out!
