I love a good cup of coffee in the morning. Actually, I NEED a good cup of coffee EVERY morning. I look forward to it and it's just the perfect start to my day. We've been using a traditional coffee pot for the past several years, so when iCoffee by Remington reached out to me about reviewing their revolutionary new iCoffee Steam brew, I definitely wanted to give it a try.
I was sent an iCoffee Steam brew to review (at no cost to facilitate this post):
iCoffee Steam Brew
Here's a little background information from iCoffee about their Steam brew and what makes it so different from traditional drip brewers:
iCoffee took seven years and over 1,257 prototypes to perfect. iCoffee's patented Steam Brew technology makes it the first coffee brewer ever to utilize steam jets inside the coffee brew basket. The SteamBrew™ jets first pre-steam the coffee and then stir the coffee throughout the brewing process so each of the coffee grounds is completely suspended and surrounded by hot water at the perfect brewing temperature. Next, a rich coffee crema forms, indicating the elimination of bitter and acidic aftertastes.
When I first un-boxed the iCoffee brewer, I was impressed with the sleek design. It looks like a traditional drip brewer in many ways and has most of the function buttons and timers you'd expect to see.
I got busy brewing my first pot right away. As instructed I removed all labels and cleaned the carafe and all surfaces to get ready to brew. According to iCoffee, their SteamBrew™ technology enables maximum flavor extraction so users should experiment to determine the optimal ratio of water to coffee based on their personal tastes. For the first pot they recommend using your usual amount of coffee, then adding more of less for subsequent brews. I went ahead and followed this advice, brewing a pot with 6 cups of water and 5 tablespoons of coffee.
The first difference I noted between my traditional KitchenAid drip brewer and the iCoffee steam brewer was that you're not supposed to use a coffee filter. The iCoffee has a Gold Tone brew basket that acts as a filter and this is the where the "i" for innovation in iCoffee happens. The brew basket can be removed from the machine to fill with coffee grounds, then it just snaps into place. Speaking of grounds, iCoffee recommends using medium to coarse grounds since their patented SteamBrew Extraction Technology will lead to increased "extracted coffee essence" (read: sediment) in your cup. If you use very fine grounds they'll slip right through into your coffee pot. If you're not into a large amount of sediment in your cup, the iCoffee also comes with an optional filter that can snapped right onto the carafe to help decrease the amount of sediment making it through from the brewer.
The second difference I noticed was from the Steam Brew Extraction Technology. The brew basket has a great see-through window so you can see the magic happening. You can see the water coming into the basket and the steam rotationally swirling the grounds. While the coffee was brewing (and afterwards) I noticed the aroma of coffee was much more noticeable in our home. It smelled wonderful and I was excited to see how the coffee would taste.
They are not kidding about the extracted coffee essence! I chose to use the optional filter and am pretty glad I did. A little bit of sediment still made it through but I was able to collect most of it right in this handy little filter. The coffee in the carafe was a bit richer in color than our traditional pots of coffee, and like I said before it smelled fantastic. iCoffee mentions that your coffee will have a rich crema but I didn't notice any crema to speak of. Honestly, I wouldn't even have known what crema was, but I happened to catch an episode of "Dangerous Grounds" on the travel channel the other night and was enlightened about crema and a host of other coffee tidbits. Despite the lack of crema, the taste of the coffee was delicious. It was smooth and flavorful and I really enjoyed it. The only real drawback, if you want to call it that, is that the machine doesn't fit underneath our upper kitchen cabinets. We have a 14 inch clearance and the machine is just a tab bit taller than that so it can't just sit on the counter top unless it's a space where there isn't an upper cabinet. This isn't a big problem for us since we do have counter space for it, but just be aware if you have a smaller kitchen space and lower upper cabinets.
Now I am by no means a coffee connoisseur, but I do enjoy coffee each morning and the iCoffee definitely makes a great pot of coffee! The clean-up is a bit more labor intensive since you aren't merely throwing the filter with grounds into the trash, but it's totally worth it to me. The iCoffee Steambrewer has definitely earned a spot on our counter.
Buy it: You can purchase the iCoffee Steambrewer at multiple retailers like Bed Bath and Beyond, or on Amazon.
Disclosure: I received the items above at no cost from iCoffee to facilitate this post. All thoughts expressed are my own and may differ from yours. Amazon links are affiliate links.

Jessica Huth says
This would be great to have! I have a keurig, but don't have anything to make a large quantity for guests. This seems like an awesome coffee machine and would love to give it a home on my counter.
Jessica Huth says
I learned that traditional methods of coffee brewing is why coffee tastes the way it does. Interested to find out how coffe tastes when brewed with steam!
Kelly Finton says
Thanks for the thorough review!!! My family would definitely put one of these to great use.
Kelly Finton says
ICoffee System uses steam to extract the exact taste from coffee, preventing the bitter taste that drip machines produce.
gretchen luper says
This product appears to be something I would really like. I have a Keurig for daily use but I still need a pot that makes multiple cups and the steam system sounds like it would make a really good pot of coffee. Hope I win.
gretchen luper says
I learned the ICoffee was featured on the cover of the Consumer Hot List. What an honor!
Mya Murphy says
I have read so many reviews, but yours totally rocks, and makes me want it more!! Thank you for the wonderful info!!

This sounds like an awesome coffee maker. I like the no filter.
Maria C. says
I really loved your review of the iCoffee, you brought all the important aspects of the steam brewer to the forefront. I love the machine, and would love to taste coffee that it steam brews. Jessica Burrelli says
I love that you can see the coffee spinning, I'm a huge coffee freak, this looks like the COOLEST coffee maker I've ever seen, I would love to use one!
Jessica Burrelli says
I learned from iCoffee that single serve and regular drip brewers are what make my coffee so acidic! I didnt know that was why I couldn't get my coffee at home to taste like my favorite coffee shop's and now i know why!
chantal bell says
This looks like it would make great tasting coffee.
Deborah D says
This. Looks & sounds like a real nice coffee pot. It seems like it would make a delicious pot of coffee.
Ann Paquette-Lukens says
We've had a hard time finding a coffee maker we like. This one looks nice!
Kortney Picker says
I can't believe that this took 7 years and so many prototypes to perfect!! I guess you never really think how much time goes into making the perfect cup of coffee!! What a great machine!
Kerilynn says
I am not a coffee drinker, mostly because of the bitter after taste, so the idea that this coffee maker gets rid of this definitely piqued my curiosity. Even if I didn't end up loving coffee after trying it, my husband and many of our out of town visitors love coffee, so it would be used often.
Lindsey G says
Now, I will say that I'm pretty loyal to my brand of coffeemaker, but this maker looks AH-mazing! Super sleek and really a great piece to always have on your countertop! I'd love to be able to get a richer cup of coffee just by using a different maker! You may have just sold me! Thanks for the great review and especially the giveaway!
Amy C. says
This machine sounds interesting. I like the fact that you don't have to use a filter and I love how the machine looks...very sleek!
Rebecca Rose says
Is the brew basket glass or plastic? With all of the hullabaloo surrounding chemicals leaching out of plastic, I'd love to find a coffee maker with no plastic parts that come into contact with the hot water or coffee. This sounds like it would taste a lot like French-pressed coffee, since that basically steeps in hot water before being forced through a filter and into your cup., so this would be a quick and easy French-Press. I'm intrigued.
Ruth V. says
It's made from plastic Rebecca. I definitely see your point and having one made from glass or BPA-free plastic would be ideal.
Vicki Hale says
Hello Ruth, I love the smell of coffee, so this might be right up my alley. My old Mr. Coffee has about wore out it's welcome. lol I do not like sediment in my coffee though. Thanks. Vicki.
Lauren Watson says
I absolutely love the fact that you don't need a filter I go through so many of those and it seems like a waste! Thanks for the chance to win!
Melissa says
Yum - Coffee is delicious! This would be fabulous!
Lisa Kerr says
I would love to try the ibrewer! Sounds like it makes delicious tasting coffee! Thank you for your review!
Sarah A. says
I've read some other reviews about this machine, and I'm excited to get one! Thank you so much for mentioning the size, though, as I'll probably need to find another place to put it in my kitchen. I'm not sure it will fit under my upper cabinets!
Sarah A. says
I went to the iCoffee website and was also excited to learn about the extra, optional filter for the coffee sediment that can occur during brewing. They said that if there wasn't one included in your packaging, that they'll send you one for free!
Amy M says
Thanks for the advice about the counter height! I've got roomm, but its good to know... and crema is a very, very, very good thing. I have to go make some coffee.....
Meg says
It looks like it uses way less coffee, has better flavor and does not need a filter
Angie Gosnell Gibson says
Coffee time is an important time for my husband and I. We start our day with our first cup together, we would love to have this to start our day with
sandra davis says

Sherry Compton says
Love the idea of rich taste. I would do like you did and use the filter. I don't want any sediment in my coffee.
LaurieTX says
I didn't realize that a good cup of coffee would have crema. It got me thinking about my Keurig coffee and how the Starbucks coffee has crema. A very good and informative review!
Julie Wood says
iCoffee uses steam to bring out the flavor of the coffee without the bitter flavor. It has a see through window so I can see my coffee being made. It also By steaming the coffee is gives it a smoother flavor than drip coffee makers. Also it looks very nice.
susan wiener says
that it has a great see-thru basket. thx
Katy P says
I wouldn't love the extra work in cleaning it- but would sure love the better flavor it extracts. I would love to try this machine!
sherry butcher says

Carol Yemola says
I like this brewer because you can make a whole pot of coffee with using a paper filter! Genius!
Monica Sepulveda says
This machine is stylish and sounds like it can make a mean coffee. My parents would love to taste the coffee out of this machine vs the decades old one they have.
Stephanie Ferrell says
I learned from this iCoffee brewer review that you don't use traditional coffee filters, the grounds must be coarse or else they will end up in your coffee and the aroma is extra wonderful with the steam extraction process.
Barrie says
I also MUST have coffee in a morning or I would die...LOL! I love coffee but I know that there has to be a better coffee. I've gone through a few coffee makers but I know that my good coffee has to taste better...with less bitterness. The icoffee maker sounds perfect! Thank you for a great review and an awesome giveaway!
Cindy Freeman says
I like that you don't have to buy filters. We need a new coffee maker!
Cindy Freeman says
Wow! Sounds so neat! Hubby would love this. The grounds don't compact, but the coffee is brewed by steam and hot water jets keep the ground stirred up. 🙂
Monica Sepulveda says
Love the Brew viewing Window to watch how the Crema forms!!
Karen says
I love my coffee and anything I can do to improve it will be great
Christina says
I love that you can watch the brewing as it is happening.
Carrie Stelzer says
What a unique way to brew coffee, with each ground surrounded by water instead of water just trickling through the grounds. I do appreciate you telling us about the things you may not have appreciated (i.e. lack of crema flavor). It makes the review seem so much more like a review than a blanket endorsement. Thanks.
Carrie Stelzer says
I learned why coffee can taste bitter; over extraction of some parts of the coffee grounds. This doesn't seem to be a problem with the iCoffee Coffee Maker since all of the grounds are evenly utilized.
Lynda H says
I really like the way this coffeemaker looks - and I've often thought how much better it would be if one could be sure all the grounds really got all the flavor extracted. I love that they've found a way to do that!
Lynda H says
I learned that the uneven way regular drip coffee makers pour down just the center of the grounds is what leads to the flavor being overly acidic and bitter.
Sandra Beeman says
I could see myself using this steanmbrew coffee pot. i wouldn't mind a little extra work in keeping it clean. My old coffee pot wouldn't give the same smooth, flavorful taste of this steam brewer.
Courtney L says
Awesome! Would love to win this! I couldn't make it without coffee.
lissa crane says
This looks like a fabulous coffee maker! I love my Keurig, but I have been looking for a less expensive alternative, and this looks perfect! Great review!
Devon Olson says
This sounds perfect! Makes me want to go buy and try!
Happi Shopr says
this is exactly what hubby needs! I love the look of the icoffee and that it uses steam to make perfect coffee.
Joyce Ackley says
This sleek-looking coffeemaker has some impressive components. I like the design of the brew basket and the glass coffee pot. I'm sure it makes delicious coffee, and I'd love to win.
Kristina Pingleton says
This is the coffee maker of the future for sure! Thank you so much for the detailed review. I'm pretty cheap when I spend money - but this product, like my Ninja, looks like it would be completely worth it for a coffee lover like myself! Thanks!
Laura Kelly says
I learned that iCoffee technology is protected by patents so you won’t find it in any other coffee brewer.
Jill A.Collins says
I never realized that the pump on single serve coffee machines can quickly force hot water through finely ground coffee at excessive speeds, resulting in over-extraction of unwanted acidic and bitter coffee oils.
Karen says
It comes with its own filter which I like as it saves me money in the long run. The brew basket has a see-through window so I can see what is happening. That is another plus. Thanks.
Karen says
I found that they don't sell it in MN. Not good.
Cindy McElwee says
My friend has a iCoffee ~ she told me about it ~ would love to have one ~ there is a differences ~ definitely ♥
Ann Marie mones says
From the review, it sounds like a lot of effort went into developing this coffee makers. Definitely worth a try! I need to move away from the kcup and save money. Worth the investment in a coffee maker like this.
Ashley D says
This is a cool coffeemaker! My husband hates the Keurig, but I bet he would love this one lol
McKenna says
The smell if coffee is my favorite part about it so that makes me really intrigued if this is even stronger!!!!
theresa harris says
I think it's definitely different and innovative, steamed coffee huh?, I would LOVE tro test and keep it. So my husband will stop going to starbucks, lol and he can have it before he leaves and not have to stop. BRING IT ON!!!!!!!
Rachel Salinas says
This is really neat! It's so interesting how it brews it differently. I've never heard of a coffee maker like this! I'd love to try it!
Dawn Monzu says
As I was reading your review, I swear I could smell your coffee! You did a great job of explaining the pro's and "con's" of it. I like that you don't have to buy filters. I don't care if it takes a little longer to clean up, I am all for it! Thank you very much!
leslie ross says
I do not have a coffee maker I have been making instant coffee and would like to brew better coffee
Russell Moore says
I have been looking for a coffee maker which makes a cup that tastes as good as it smells.. This looks promising.
Tammy Markham says
This coffee maker sounds wonderful. i really enjoy coffee anytime of the day. for me, i think that i would have to use the extra filter so that it wasn't as strong, but then again, i also use creamer in my coffee, but i don't put too much creamer in it, as to not taste the coffee. with this coffee maker i don't think that i would have that problem. Thank you for posting about this.
Tammy Marie Markham says
you don't have to worry about bitter tasting coffee because the rotational steamer technology part of the machine makes sure that your coffee is nice and smooth every time.
DailyWoman(Lacey) says
I love the fact that this coffeemaker has the see through window so you can actually see how it works. I like that you get a better aroma with this method.
Tammy Marie Markham says
okay, this is going to be a very silly question, when i vote, in which i think i did, but i'm not sure, when you hit the button for the top mommy blog is there anything that i need to do on that page, because i don't see anything that says vote, if there is where is it on the top mommy blog site. i feel silly asking this question, but anyways, thank you
Ruth V. says
Not a silly question at all! Once you click on the Top Mommy Blogs banner and the page loads, that's it. Your vote has been cast, although it doesn't say so. It's confusing for sure. Thank you for voting!!!
Leanna Morris says
Great review, stressing points that I feel necessary to know such as using a filter in the brew basket or using a coarser grind
of coffee. Thanks for shaing the information.
jamie hamilton says
Wow, from your review I learned that i Coffee doesn't use a traditional filter. i would love to try that.
I also checked out the iCoffee website and read more about what you mentioned about the coffee maker extracting the best flavors. For instance, perhaps my drip coffee is too acidic. I think iCoffee would be good for those with sensitive stomachs.
Allena says
This looks like an amazing way to make coffee. I love everything coffee I'd love to try this out this brew system.
lindy bee giordano says
Ive never heard of this coffee machine how awesome Id love to see it in action!!!

MJ Dee says
Now I know why my coffee can taste acidic and bitter. Amazing technology with the iCoffee!
Reina Sabie says
i hate bitter coffee after taste. if this really eliminates it then it is def worth looking into
Arleen F Smith says
After reading the review I think I would sacrifice the counter space and extra time cleaning because of the quality of the cup of coffee,I am definitely going to do more research.
Crystalis says
I've been using a lil cheapie coffee maker for years and it's on it's last drips right now, so I desperately need a new one, been trying to find the "right one" for a while. Well hello iCoffee!! It's amazing that it took them 7 years to perfect a beauty like this! And just reading about the how regular coffee pots are more acidic because of the drip system...well my cup I'm drinkin right now isn't tasting that great anymore..
Brutus Duffy says
I don't know what crema is, but as long as the coffee tastes great, that's all I care about. I don't mind sediment in my cup-gives me character, choking it down. 🙂
Stoic Kitty says
I learneded that iCoffee uses the goodness of steam to extract the most exquisite coffee flavours while rotational hot water jets continuously stir the grounds, compared to iMac which fails the coffee challenge miserably again. I also learneded that unlike an iMac an iCoffee does not require internet access and helps conserve bandwidth usage; I think that is icing on the cake.
david harris says
The coolest coffee pot I've seen
Amanda Alvarado says
I learned that it's BPA and lead free!
ken smith says
This looks like a great coffee maker!
david harris says

i tocolleenmaul says
I too like the sleek design. Also theres sonthing about glass poys. Easy to clean and you can see how much coffee you have left very stlish and a top brand name.
Tammie Decker says
I LOVE my coffee need it right away in the morning. I would love to win this
Dani H says
So every time you make a pot of coffee, you have to clean the brew basket, the glass carafe and the (optional) filter? Do you clean inside of the machine where the brew basket goes, as well? It probably is best to hand-wash it all? It seems like a lot of work for one pot of coffee... but if you say it's worth it.... {smile}
Ruth V. says
Yes, I clean the brew basket, the carafe, and the little filter with every pot. I don't clean inside the machine because I never did that with my old machine either and figure why start now 🙂 I hand wash it all and it's really not THAT much additional work. It's just a bit grittier since you can't just dump the paper filter full of grounds into the trash first.
Jessica Irizarry says
This sounds great. I love my coffee and anything that can produce a better cup is for me.
paty pulido says
it has a see through basket that's so cool
Cami says
Very interesting !!!! I too have a keurig and I love it but would like it for when we had guest over 🙂
lisa says
I'm not a coffee drinker. My husband is. Is there supposed to be grounds in your coffee cup?
Ruth V. says
They call it "essence" and yes, to have some sediment (it's not really grounds - it's more like super fine silt) in your cup is normal with this machine. It didn't really bother me, but I used the optional filter to decrease the amount.
Annette Herbst says
This looks very high tech but I love gadgits and coffee so this is perfect
Dereck says
wow that was a great precise review. I appreciate that. And thank you for that. I'm 30 years old, have loved coffee since around 12 years old. I've been paralyzed from the shoulders down for 7 years now. I have to rely on my parents, caregivers, or siblings to make coffee for me. And I just want something else. It's like they can't make it the way I want it the way I used to drink it. From this review. It kind of sounds for flavor is closer to how I preferred it. Only one way to check though I hope I win it thank you for the opportunity thank you for the great review and good luck everyone
Debbie Miracle says
I loved the syle in the photo .. also the degree of detail of your experience and advise to get the best results. I would love to win this.. eith way this is a product I am certainly going to look into more. and would consider purchasing based alot on your review. Thank you
Terra Agueda says
I learned the steam makes the coffee taste better and less bitter.
Dawn Walbeck says
I think the iCoffee is amazing. The basket allows a lot more ease and fresh brew than traditional baskets. My current multi-cup coffee maker leaks and does not brew a full pot anymore. I have loved it for many years...and need to replace it. I don't want to replace it with just any 'ol coffeemaker though. What a great coffeemaker!
Deborah Rosen says
Rod drinks a lot of coffee but I drink only the occasional cup. He makes very robust coffee and it's usually too bitter for me to enjoy. Based on your review, I think the iCoffee would eliminate that and allow me to enjoy the occasional cup while allowing Rod his robust coffee.
ralph gonzales says
i like it canbe bought at bed bath and beyond
Connie Hamilton says
Oh, to be able to brew a wonderful cup of coffee from home...seems like a dream.

Donna Jagnarain says
Very cool I like the idea! I would love to try it.

I like that it uses steam to keep the coffee grounds moving as the water extracts the coffee flavor. I would love to have one of these to go with our K-Cup machine since I want at least 3-4 cups of coffee in the morning.
Lisa G says
I learned that it does not contain lead or BPA's.

Visited ICoffee and learned how to clean it- so simple!
Elizabeth Johnston says
I cannot imagine morning without coffee! I love that this brewing system cuts down on the acidity found in regular drip coffee. My favorite brewing method is cold (Toddy coffee <3), but this would be great for hot coffee drinks. 🙂
ruby reis wade says
It sounds wonderful. I love the smell of fresh brewed coffee. I was wondering, I know you said Not to use a paper filter, but did you try? or what was the reason for not using it? Not that the clean up would be bad. a minute out of my life to clean as opposed to throwing away grounds in the paper filter.
Ruth V. says
The machine will malfunction if you use a paper filter, otherwise I definitely would have tried 🙂
Diane O says
Thanks for the through review. I love coffee, but I've noticed I can't drink strong, black coffee anymore, my stomach just says no. I'd love to try the iCoffee, thanks for the chance to win!
Kim says
Love this. Want to win this so bad!! I'm a coffee fanatic. This seems awesome!
Kim B says
I looked at the FAQ.
gigi borden says
i love your review and how you give us so much detail and provide pictures!!
gigi borden says
i learnt the remington name has been associated with coffee since 1846 - long time!!
Trish F says
Sounds like this is a special machine and will need to either grind your own beans or get the beans at the store and dial in a course grind there. I used to do that when I was using a coffee press. Thanks for the heads up on the measurements as I would be interested to know how much space it take up.
Trish F says
I learned that they went through 1,257 prototypes! Wow, you would think after that, they pretty much perfected it. Yeah!
Mikayla K says
It seems like this is exactly what I have been missing in my coffee. I want a rich flavor but not a bitter flavor and if this is removing the sediment too then I have to try this.
Ashley Trail says
I am excited to see this, I love rich deep coffee...
Paula Morgan says
While I am definitely not a Coffee Aficionado, I do know what I like and don't like about my coffee...and First and foremost, I need a reliable coffee pot for my morning cup of fresh-brewed heaven!! I have become spoiled by "Programmable Coffee Makers"...I can set them up at night before bed and wake up to a fresh brewed pot every morning!! I like that this is programmable and it would make the perfect replacement for my old one...I would love the chance to try steam brewed coffee!!
Paula Morgan says
I learned on the iCoffee site that they expect there to be sediment in your pot, that's why they offer the optional filter that fits on the carafe. I think this is a great idea, and no more worry about paper filters!!
cortney t says
Great review! As a mom to a 14 month old I drink a lot of coffee!! We just have a basic coffee machine and it does a horrible job! It gets the coffee grounds in the coffee sometimes. YUCK then I have to make a new pot! I love the sleek design of this!
cortney t says
They are on consumer hot list !!

This sounds great! We got rid of our coffee maker not too long ago because it was getting too old, and not making a very decent cup o'joe. This sounds like a great new one for me to have! I do need coffee back in my life!
Beanybopp says
I learned that the reason why coffee tastes bitter in conventional coffee makers is because it compacts and over extracts the flavor from the grounds. I just thought coffee beans where bitter naturally...so it is interesting to know that they arent suppose to be bitter.
Beanybopp says
I showed my husband this (since he is the only coffee drinker in the house) and he was like "I like my bitter coffee". Then I showed him the video on the website and he was like "how much is it?" LOL I think that he is really interested in tasting a cup to see the difference between our cheap $17 coffee maker vs the iCoffee. He has been bothering me for a keurig for the longest time but I think that he might be bugging me for one of these instead.
Susan P. says
Good review - now I'll have to get one of these brewers (if I don't win)!
Sandra Crispo says
Love to win so can make coffee for hubby and tea for me without making too much and letting some go to waste!!!
Sandra Crispo says
with the singel serve machines the pump can quickly force hot water through finely ground coffee at excessive speeds, resulting in over-extraction of unwanted acidic and bitter coffee oils and is actually more expensive in long run!!
JEssie Santana says
I Love to check out all the new Mommy Blogs, and BAking Blogs.... One of my favorites Blogs is Sprinklebakes.com Blog site! Tons of Baking and awesome Desserts on that one! JEssie

I visited iCoffee and learned that the iCoffee uses the benefits of steam to open up and fully release only the non-bitter, non-acidic, exquisitely smooth coffee flavors.
I would like to say that I never heard of iCoffee until today. Thank you for your informative review about it and the fact that it even exists.

Julie Cook says
This is very interesting, I would really like to try this product!
JEssie Santana says
I would LOVEEEE TO wind the icoffee maker. I am in MUCH need of a new Good working coffee pot. I will be needing one soon, and after reading your review on it, it sounds like an awesome machine. My biggest concern when looking to purchase a coffee machine, is the creama! usually you only see this on extremely expensive espresso machines. but this is the first time I've heard of a good priced daily coffee drip machine being able to produce the crema! Its all about the CREMA, that's what makes a good coffee, and also grinding your grounds fresh!
SherrianneH says
Very much would love to taste the difference with the icoffee.
Valorie Nelson says
Love to win for my sister, she is such a blessing!
Michele Comas says
Well, between my broken Keurig and my regular coffee maker, that is on its way out...this seems like the perfect replacement. Congrats to whomever wins...I would like to know how it truly compares!

This looks really nice. I like that you get the flavor of a French Press, but without the problems. I like the see-through window too!
Robin says
I love that the coffee is double filtered so you don't have coffee grounds in your coffee.
Deanna mancini says
Love this!! I dont mind a lil xtra clean up for a great cup of coffee!!
Julie V says
This looks really nice. So much better than the one we have. I like the concept behind it as I love coffee but that slightly bitter aftertaste can be a turn off at times. I would really like to give something like this a try so I have my fingers crossed.
Jean everson says
Would love to try a variety of flavors bet the aroma would be amazing
Velma says
I appreciate your review, it has been the most insightful so far!
Velma says
I learned that The Rich Coffee Crema forms when the coffee is steambrewing. That rich coffee crema helps ensure an "impossibly smooth” tasting cup of coffee. But you wont see it in your cup because by the time it hits the carafe the crema bubbles have burst and all you are left with is that impossibly smooth coffee flavor.
Jenn W says
I've been using a french press for the past few years and am intrigued by the difference in flavor/essence a steam brewer would make in my essential morning cup of coffee! Love the details about the filter.
Ashley Avelar says
Great review! I love the design. The automatic shutoff is such a great feature. sleepy moms in the morning forget something and I can imagine myself forgetting to shut it off so that would be helpful. Steam seems like such a great way to brew coffee.
Jill D. says
This Coffee Maker sounds like it's fabulous! Hope I win!

Great review. I am so impressed with the steam brew technology. Want to taste a cup of this coffee!
melisa says
You have us most curious about the smell and taste of coffee brewed via this method. My husband has a siphon coffee maker, as well as other types of coffee makers, and we've not yet seen this in person. It'd be fun to try different beans and record the different attributes, then look it all over afterwards.
melisa says
I learned that through their patented steambrew technology, the coffee will not turn out bitter or acidic. The video was interesting to watch as well.
Deb C says
My Mom swears only an old fashioned percolator makes good coffee. I think I can prove her wrong with an iCoffee.
Amanda Louise says
Looks like a great innovative coffee maker and I have a great home for it. 🙂

I am definitely a coffee addict and I love having coffee in all different ways. My drip coffee maker kind of leaves a bitter after taste which I believe the icoffee machine eliminates. I'm excited to hear that you agree that it gave you a smooth cup of coffee. Thanks for the review.
Melissa G. says
I looooove the smell of coffee and I love the ritual of having a cup in the morning. Home coffee isn't always the best, so I would love a machine that makes a good home coffee.

William W. says
It sure makes it EASY when you don't have to buy filters all the time! The gold tone brew basket is easy to clean and doesn't remove the creama. This would be a welcome appliance in ANY home. (Especially MINE.) Have a great March!!! ☘

Would love to try the iCoffee! Sounds like a great way to brew a pot of coffee!
Deb V says
I learned that with a drip coffee maker you get acidic and bitter coffee because of over extraction because not all of the coffee evenly comes in contact with the hot water.
Janette Polivka says
The whole steam brew concept sounds amazing! And I bet it tastes so smooth and rich, just the way I like it. Yum! Just the perfect way to start the day!
laurie nykaza says

I just bought the iCoffee multi brew and wonder what the ideal coffee to water ratio is? Do you still use 5T to 6c water?
