    Mia Melon - Waterproof Jackets for Women {Plus, a Giveaway!}

    This post may contain affiliate links. Click here for more information.

    I'm always on the hunt for beautiful and functional jackets, especially because we have such variable weather in Minnesota! Right now it's fall and we swing from 55 and sunny one day to 30 and rainy the next. I wanted to add a couple waterproof jackets to my collection, and because I love the trench style, I turned to Mia Melon! I've partnered with Mia Melon to share one of their beautiful jackets with you (and your chance to win one, too!).

    Mia Melon Harriet Style Trench

    You may remember that I featured a Mia Melon Jacket last year! I still love and wear that jacket often. I actually love Mia Melon so much that I follow them on social media to see when their new lines will come out. When I saw that Mia Melon had released a new line of jackets this fall, my eyes were immediately drawn to the Harriet Style Trench. I've always loved trench-style coats. I'm not sure if it's the multitude of buttons or just how symmetrical they look, but I just like them!

    I find the Harriet particularly cute and it's so comfortable, too! Made of soft cotton herringbone, this is a windproof and waterproof jacket. With cozy, micro-fleece lined pockets, it's perfectly warm for our chilly fall days in Minnesota.

    While I was unaware that I stand so crookedly, I love the back of this jacket! The double belt loop is so cute, and I feel like the jacket is flattering on a variety of figures. The Harriet Style Trench features a DWR treatment so it beads off rain and snow. Considering the ridiculous amount of rainy days we've had lately, this is ideal!

    One of my favorite things about Mia Melon waterproof jackets are the large hoods. I have naturally curly/wavy hair and it takes time and effort to flat-iron it in the morning. There's nothing I hate more than going out in the rain and having my hair turn back into a frizzy mess! With the large hood on my Harriet Jacket, I don't have to worry about that. The hood is also removable and fully adjustable to cinch tighter when necessary.

    I would say the Harriet Trench is true to size. I wear a medium or large in shirts and opted for the large. It fits comfortably without being tight, which I sometimes have an issue with in the bust area. But with this jacket, I have room to move which is great! Offered in a variety of colors, I chose the Deep Teal because I've been loving all things blue lately. It's also available in Oxblood Red, Evergreen, Black, and Eggplant.

    Mia Melon offers a huge variety of jackets for all seasons, and they'll have a new line coming out yet this year! I can't wait to see the new line and share it with you closer to the holidays.

      Harriet Trench is cute! Love the Stella Modern, as well. These look like a great, high-quality coat for rainy days.

      What a great and cute coat. You got me with the words "cozy, micro-fleece lined pockets". In the Upper Midwest it does get cold and I tend to go out without gloves. I love the fact that the pockets are lined. Great idea.
