Recently, I got the good news that I was selected to be a Little Tikes Brand Ambassador! For my first review (and giveaway!) I wanted a fun toy that would grow with my little guy. I didn't need to look any further than the Little Tikes Fold Away Climber!
The Little Tikes Fold Away Climber is a folding gym that's designed for indoor or outdoor use. It's packed with fun features for little ones ages 18 months - 4 years. They can climb, crawl, hide, play soccer, play basketball, slide, and even throw a baseball with the Fold Away Climber! Then, when your little one is all tuckered out, this great playground simply folds away, making storage a breeze!
First things first, let's talk assembly. When my Little Tikes Fold Away Climber arrived the box was opened on one end, but my UPS lady assured me that all the pieces were there. My husband and I got to work on assembling the climber during nap time, hoping to surprise our little guy when he work up.
Assembly wasn't too difficult and we had most of it done within 20 minutes. Unfortunately, once we got to the last few steps we realized that the basketball backboard was missing. A quick phone call to Little Tikes customer service quickly rectified the situation, and only 5 days later we had the missing piece in hand. The customer service representative was so lovely too! It was really no hassle at all, and she took great care of us. Even with the backboard missing, the wubba was still thrilled when he woke up and saw that big red slide!

The Fold Away Climber has a unique design so there are several different activities all packed into a relatively small space. In just a few seconds the Fold Away Climber will unfold into a mini-playground that will entertain your child for hours!
The Fold Away Climber is packed with features!
On the large green section, the Fold Away Climber features an adjustable basketball hoop that will grow with your child. A soft, bouncing basketball is included with the climber. Underneath the basketball hoop is an image of a baseball glove which is a perfect target if you've got a future MLB star on your hands. Directly underneath that is a soccer or hockey net.
The yellow piece of the Fold Away Climber is a climbing wall. There are a few steps for your child to climb and a cut-out handle so they can keep their balance. Once they get to the top, they can follow the little footsteps on the gray platform to the slide.
The gray platform is held up by a purple post and this little nook is perfect for curious crawlers to explore. My little guy loves to play hide and seek and peek through the different sections of the climber. When the child is on top of the platform and headed for the slide there is a great handlebar for them to hold onto. I do wish there were a railing in place on top of the platform, since my son is still a little unstable on his feet. It would be nice if there were a handrail from the yellow climbing wall to the purple slide post, but for now I've just been pushing that side up against a wall for a little added stability.
My little guy has really been enjoying the Fold Away Climber. I was a little unsure he'd be able to fully use all of the features since he's only 14 months old, but he's been crawling and climbing all over it!
He especially loves to make baskets!
He's also great at sliding! He can't quite climb up the wall unassisted yet, but he's getting close. He's fearless and slides down the slide too (then tries to climb back up the slide over and over again)!
The Fold Away Climber keeps him entertained for quite a while! I love that this can be used indoors or outdoors too. It's especially nice in Florida since we have rainy afternoons on most days.
The most unique feature of the Fold Away Climber is it's ability to simply fold away once you're done playing for the day. You just unscrew the purple post and the gray platform folds up, as does the slide. It makes storing the Fold Away Climber so much easier! Plus, you can still shoot hoops if you leave the basketball hoop in place!
Overall, I'm thrilled with the Little Tikes Fold Away Climber! It's packed with features and keeps my son entertained for quite a while! It can easily transition from inside to outside use, or easily fold away to store. I'd definitely recommend this product to anyone looking for a great gym/playground for their child!

Sometimes we just can't get outside to go to the park, so I know the my daughter would love to have an indoor slide. We live in a small space so I wouldn't even consider a toy like this if it didn't fold up. The basketball hoop and net are great perks too. Looks like a lot of fun.

After looking through all the cool toys on Little Tykes, I found the Bright View Easel. Wow that is a cool concept. I like that you can draw directly on the washable surface and that you can draw on either side. Very neat!

I will say this about little tikes, they have fabulous customer service! It is really hard to find that today. We had a little tikes cozy coupe that was wobbly on one side and when my husband took it apart when found a manufacturing defect where the wheel had an oval shape on the inside rather then a circle and they sent us a whole new wheel and they even paid for shipping!

Thanks for a great review. I have always bought Little Tikes toys for my children and grandchildren. I have been blessed with 2 new grandsons this year and am expecting another one at any time. I have been looking for Little Tike toys that I can keep here at my house for when the little ones visit. I love the fact that this folds up and can be stored then Grandma will not have to have it sitting forever in the middle of the living room. Little Tikes is such a great company and they think of everything.

I love the it folds away and captures a ton of sports. We are a huge sports family (husband is a college basketball coach) and 2 teenage girls in sports year round. This would be great to introduce our newest addition, 2 month old son, to sports.

This is another awesome toy from. Little Tikes. I'm going to keep my eye out on these toys because they are super convenient for families with small backyards or homes, especially since it looks super easy to stow away. And honestly the price isn't that bad if you consider how much we spend on electronics lol this gets kids moving and staying fit. I can't wait for my little one to grow so that I can have this in my home, I might even get it before since I babysit occasionally. Thanks for the awesome review!

This is an adorable "toy!"
