Ice Cream Castles Clothing for Adventurous Kids

If you know me, you know that I LOVE to buy clothes for my kids. I've been wearing the same jeans for the past three years, but I go clothes shopping for my kids whenever I get the chance! I recently discovered Ice Cream Castles clothing and I fell in LOVE with their creative designs. I've partnered with Ice Cream Castles to show you a few pieces from their Desert Radness Collection which was released this spring.

There are a few things I consider for when buying clothes for my kids. The first is how they look, followed by quality and functionality. I don't know how to explain my taste but I particularly love whimsical prints, bright colors, and unique looks that you can't find everywhere (not all together, of course!). As far as quality, my kids are hard on clothes. They love playing in the dirt, doing art, and both manage to make quite a mess at meal times. We need clothes that wash up well and can withstand a lot of mess. On top of that, our kids LOVE adventure. They're constantly riding bikes and running or climbing at the playground. Clothes that can move with their busy little bodies are a must.

Ice Cream Castles Clothing

I recently heard about Ice Cream Castles clothing and as soon as I saw their Desert Radness Collection I was hooked. Long-time friends Wells Nathan and Veronique Vicari Barnes are the creative force behind Ice Cream Castles, with vintage-inspired designs that are sure to delight your adventurous kiddos!

They have so many adorable designs, and one that caught my eye immediately was the Feather Repeat Print Tank Dress for our daughter. I'm actually in love with all of their dresses and I'm sure we'll be adding to our collection soon.

I love putting her in anything whimsical and light, and the 4T is a perfect fit for her. One thing I really appreciate about Ice Cream Castles is that their dresses range in size from 0-3 months to a size 7. If we had two daughters, I would absolutely put them in matching dresses! As it is, many of the pieces in the Desert Radness Collection are unisex so it will still be easy to find clothes that match for our two littles.

I can't stand how cute the feather print is on the stone colored dress! We have gotten SO many compliments already and she's only worn it a few times, though it's quickly becoming her go-to favorite.

Because the dress itself is a little short, we paired it with simple Black Leggings from Ice Cream Castles. They are the perfect length (also 4T) and they're so versatile. She can wear them with the Feather Print Repeat Tank Dress and with many of her other dresses and tops. Once she outgrows them, I'll hold onto them for her brother to use when he gets older.

Both pieces are 100% cotton and our daughter says they're very comfortable. She recently learned how to do the monkey bars and had no problem mastering the whole playground in this outfit. Her newest passion is gymnastics and absolutely everything becomes a balance beam.

She's full of mischief, this one. When she's not practicing gymnastics, she can usually be found creating an intricate story line for herself and her little brother. He's an adventurous little guy himself, and I was so happy to find some bright colors for him to wear from Ice Cream Castle's Desert Radness Collection.

The first pair of bottoms that caught my eye were the Cloud Lightening Print Leggings. Our son has bright blue eyes and I love to bring them out by pairing them with bright clothing.

These leggings are just plain adorable, and I got them in 12-18 months. Looking back, I probably would have gone up a size. While they fit him perfectly now, I'm sure it won't be long before he goes through another growth spurt!

With just a hint of bright green embroidery, these leggings pair with many of our son's shirts. They're so bright and just have a FUN pattern. I think they match perfectly with the Lightening Surf Graphic Vintage Print Tee.

While I sometimes hesitate to purchase white clothing (because toddlers) I am happy to say that this has gotten dirty every time he's worn it but has come clean with no problem. Plus, who doesn't love a crisp white t-shirt?

How cute is that tiny booty in those leggings? I personally love leggings on boys and I appreciate that both of these pieces are gender-neutral.

Our little guy cruises around following his big sister and this outfit makes it easy for him to catch up. Like our daughters outfit, both pieces are 100% cotton, so he can cruise around without the restrictions that other fabrics have on movement.

This guy is ALWAYS on the go. He enjoys wearing clothes that make climbing and running easier, and these fit that bill.

This whole outfit just gives me a vintage beach vibe and I love it! The one-of-a-kind designs on both the tee and leggings have gotten a lot of attention from strangers wanting to know where we got them. I'm always excited to share about Ice Cream Castles. Their Desert Radness Collection alone has such a variety of designs that there really is something for everyone.

I love all of the pieces that we got from Ice Cream Castles and I'm very impressed with their quality. I would suggest sizing up as they are 100% cotton and could shrink. Plus, then your kiddo can wear them longer!.
