Are you making your list and checking it twice? I'm partnering with Energizer® to help you get organized this holiday season. Grab my free Christmas shopping list template and don't forget the batteries!

I remember my son's very first Christmas morning. He was 6 months old and we went a little overboard with the gifts, of course. I was so excited to give him all the new colorful and musical toys I'd bought, but there was one problem. I forgot the batteries!

I'm not the only one though! In 2016 and 2017, Energizer surveyed parents to see how common forgetting the batteries actually was. I can't say I was surprised to see these results:

    • Two in five moms have forgotten batteries for a holiday gift (um, that would be ME!).
    • 54% of parents run out to buy batteries last minute around the holidays (yes, this would also be me).
    • 85% of parents remember the look of delight when their child saw a battery-powered toy come to life for the first time.
    • 39% of moms with babies or toddlers recall a tantrum when a toy’s batteries went out.
    • 81% of parents say battery-powered devices keep them sane on long holiday trips.

I vowed never to forget the batteries again and I've been super vigilant ever since. Now, when I'm shopping for birthday or holiday gifts, I always check the items to see if they require batteries and then I power them up with Energizer Ultimate Lithium batteries.

Not only are Energizer Ultimate Lithium AAA and AA batteries the longest lasting, they deliver peak performance and keep your electronics running strong until the very end. Plus, they're 33% lighter than alkaline batteries. That makes handling and transporting your devices even easier.

Energizer Ultimate Lithium batteries also leak-resistant with a 20-year shelf life (from -40°F to 140°F)! I had no idea how important that was until I discovered our emergency hurricane kit had sub-par batteries that leaked all over all of our supplies.

So, if you're gifting toys and high-tech electronics this holiday season, don't Scrooge up and forget the batteries! I've got a handy free printable Christmas shopping list template below that you can fill out to keep track of everyone on your list. There's also spaces at the bottom to keep track of how many packs of Energizer Ultimate Lithium batteries you'll need.

This would work so well to keep track of gifts that have already been bought. I sometimes buy ahead and forget that I already have a gift. Good way to help with budgeting too.
