Did you make fitness resolutions this year? It's a common time to start working on fitness goals and gyms see an influx of new customers starting in January. Thanks to BabbleBoxx.com I've found a handful of items that will help me slay my fitness goals all year long. This is a sponsored conversation on behalf of BabbleBoxx.com. As always, all opinions are my own.
I joined a gym last year and it's honestly made a huge impact on my life. Not only do I attend boot camp a few days a week, but I've also become an avid runner. I started out running a few miles a day, and have worked my way up doing multiple 5k runs and my first 10k. I made some fitness resolutions this year including improving running times and running my first half-marathon. Even though it can be tough to stay on track with resolutions, there are ways to make it easier if you have the right mindset and gear.
How to Slay Your Fitness Goals All Year Long
Set realistic goals. It can be appealing to set big, lofty resolutions at the beginning of each year. However, it's usually more realistic to set small, reachable goals at first and then progress towards larger goals. It can be easy to get discouraged if you don't start seeing immediate changes. When you set a variety of small goals, you're more likely to achieve them and continue building on them on all year long.
Prioritize recovery. While it can be easy to just focus on the fitness aspect of your resolutions, it's important to focus on recovery, too. When I started boot camp classes last year, I experienced a LOT of sore muscles. Over time, that soreness subsides but a few months ago I was struck with a side-lining back injury. I had to take almost 2 months off of boot camp and complete 4 weeks of physical therapy. I just got discharged from PT and was given the approval to get back in the gym. HELLO, SORENESS.
Under Armour Athlete Recovery Sleepwear
I've been living in this Under Armour's Athlete Recovery Sleepwear and it's LOVE. Not only is this the most comfortable romper ever, it's also built for recovery (hence the name). After training, I snuggle up in this romper because it has a special fabric pattern inside that returns infrared energy to your body. From my understanding, this can boost blood flow where the fabric touches your body, helping restore your muscles faster. The material on this romper is lightweight and it has a comfortable, relaxed fit. I love that it has pockets and I can wear it around the house after a workout and then to bed. It's perfect for sleep and recovery after training.
Tiger Balm Ultra has also been fantastic to help me through the soreness and aches. This non-staining ointment is full of Tiger Balm's strongest herbal ingredients to soothe my muscles and joints.
Tiger Balm
I just recently heard about Tiger Balm's Pain Relieving Patches, which contour to any body part that needs some pain relief. They're easy to apply and painless to remove. Plus, they don't cause any mess or leave residue on skin or clothes.
Find products that keep you motivated. One of the things that keeps me motivated while I run is music. Without music, I'm 100% sure that I couldn't make it through a ten-mile run. However, since I run outdoors I wanted to find a way to listen to music while still being aware of my surroundings. AfterShokz Trekz Air Headphones have an open-ear design that allows the user to hear music through bone conduction.

They're wireless and made of titanium which makes them very lightweight. Plus, they're sweatproof and have a six-hour battery! I love being able to hear my surroundings as well as my music and being able to adjust volume and skip tracks with the touch of a button. You can get $50 off an Endurance Bundle from AfterShokz with the code BABBLEBOXX at checkout.
Another product that helps motivate me is a good sports bra. As a woman, having adequate support is essential. Under Armour's Seamless Longline Bra is the perfect option for low-impact activities (like when I do light cross-training) and all-day comfort. It's best for A to C cups and is incredibly soft and comfortable, while still being supportive.

The material wicks sweat dries very quickly, which is great since I'm often working out outside in the Florida heat and humidity. Plus, it's engineered with ventilation that allows your skin to breathe. Available in multiple colors and sizes, it's a design that will work for all body types. The back design is especially fun and allows for strap adjustment also.
Have the right products on hand to fuel you. It's so important to have products to give you the energy you need to reach your fitness resolutions. I'm all about convenience these days and CELSIUS On-The-Go Powder Sticks are about as convenient as you can get. CELSIUS is a fitness drink which has been clinically proven to accelerate metabolism and burn calories & body fat while providing healthy energy. These individually packaged powders can be mixed right into your water as a natural way to get a boost of energy. CELSIUS is available in four flavors including Berry, Orange, Coconut, and Cranberry Lemon.

Each packet contains 200 mg of caffeine (which is equivalent to about 2 cups of coffee). The caffeine is from green tea leaves, ginger and guarana seeds which provide healthy, sustained energy (versus a spike and then crash from other synthetic sources). Another thing I love about CELSIUS is that it has 7 essential vitamins, no artificial preservatives or flavors, no aspartame or high fructose corn syrup, and contains zero sugar and is very low in sodium.
Reward yourself. Once you've reached a goal, be sure to reward yourself. I like to reward myself with a cute new tank or pair of running tights every time I beat a personal record. Maybe you'd like to get a massage every time you lose 10 pounds or treat yourself to a new pair of shoes if you workout 20 out of 30 days each month. Getting to splurge on a little something that you know you've earned can really help you stay on track.
