DIY Date Night Clear Glass Ornament

    date night ornament

I always love giving a gift that entails time spent together for a future date. Its like gifting excitement and anticipation! This DIY Date Night Ornament made from a clear glass ornament bottles up the items you need for a date night with you and your sweetheart! Simply roll up your tickets and drop them in! Instead of actual tickets, you could print out clues to piece together what the night will entail or the location of the event. Include some cash for the babysitter, parking, or dessert, and seal it up! I thought it would be a fun idea to include a roll of mints or gum, but the roll was too wide for this small ornament opening. I don't think it would be a problem if you used a larger ornament with a larger mouth.

Tie it up with a bow, and your gift is ready to go! I think it would sure be fun to give this to your sweetheart at the beginning of the month when you're putting up your tree. What a fun thing to see throughout the month as you get excited about date night!

Ooo, another fun idea would be to make several of these, all containing clues or pieces of the date night, and hide them all around the tree. Have your lover find all the ornaments, empty all the contents, and piece together the clues as they try to figure out the event, the location, the time and place, etc. So fun for newlyweds, boyfriends/girlfriends, and even the old married folks like us :).

Merry Christmas! Share with us your favorite date night ideas or your own clear glass ornament projects!
