If you're headed to Great Wolf Lodge in Bloomington, Minnesota, I've got some insight on the dining options available! I've partnered with Great Wolf Lodge to share which restaurants our family loved during our recent stay.
Great Wolf Lodge Dining Options - Bloomington, MN
We recently took a family stay-cation at Great Wolf Lodge in Minnesota and had such an amazing time! While we were there, we didn't leave for three full days which means we ate all our meals at the lodge. There are quite a few options available and we were really impressed by the variety!
Dunkin' Donuts
For breakfast you have a couple options at Great Wolf Lodge in Bloomington. Our first stop in the morning was Dunkin' Donuts because on vacation you should always indulge in a fancy donut (or two!). We wanted to grab something quick because the kids were excited to get to the water park. I was there right at opening and there was already a line forming-by the time I ordered my coffee and donuts the line was down the hall! It stayed that way until probably ten thirty. Basically, if you don't want to wait in a line get there early!
Campfire Kitchen Breakfast Buffet
Another breakfast option is the incredible buffet at Campfire Kitchen. We were gifted complimentary breakfast one morning so we took advantage of it and filled up! There was an an incredible array of options and everyone left full. Next time we stay at Great Wolf Lodge we will definitely have breakfast at Campfire Kitchen again! The cost is $14.99 for adults and $9.99 for ages 4-10. 3 and under are free with a paying adult
Ben & Jerry's
If you're looking for a mid-morning snack, there's a Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream right by the Dunkin' Donuts. Our family loves ice cream but we were so busy during our visit that we didn't stop! Next time we will for sure.
Buckets Incredible Craveables
If you're in the water park around lunch time, Buckets Incredible Craveables is going to be your most convenient option for a meal. Located within the water park, you can grab a burger and fries and head right back to the lazy river after. My family all got burgers but I ordered the Roasted Turkey & Avocado sandwich for a healthier option!
Hungry As A Wolf
Another mid-day dining option is Hungry As A Wolf which serves pizza, subs, pasta, and salads. We were gifted $40 in vouchers and we were able to get two HUGE pizzas and an order of cheesy bread with that! We ate supper and then kept the leftovers and snacked on them over the next two days. The pizza was delicious and exactly what we craved after a long day in the water park!
Campfire Kitchen Dinner Buffet
One evening for dinner we decided to try the Campfire Kitchen dinner buffet. Once again, there was a huge variety of food options from seafood to ribs! The food was hot and delicious and me and my husband ate well. Unfortunately the kids were so tired from the water park that they spent dinner pretty crabby. The cost of dinner is $19.99 per adult and $12.99 for ages 4-10. I'd say it's probably worth the cost if you can actually spend the time there to eat. Since we were dealing with cranky kiddos who didn't want to eat at the time, we probably didn't get our money's worth. That being said, the food we did have was delicious!
Drink Offerings
For the adults, Great Wolf Lodge offers a few different drink establishments throughout the hotel. Barnwood Bar is located directly outside Campfire Kitchen and offers cocktails as well as shareable plates!
The Watering Hole is located within the water park. It's the perfect place to slip away and grab a beer. You can even catch local sporting events on the big screen TVs located around the bar. The Outpost is another option for drinks and it's located in the Great Wolf Adventure Park. If you like craft beers and signature cocktails, this is a stop you'll want to make!
There are so many dining options at Great Wolf Lodge in Bloomington! They make it easy to spend the entire weekend dining in. As a parent, I appreciate that because it's just extra work if we need to load kids in and out of vehicles to eat. I prefer hotels that have on-site dining options like Great Wolf Lodge. Overall I think the restaurants at the Bloomington location offer a great variety for families and that everyone will be able to find something they like!
