Get Choice Rewards with Choice Privileges

Are you planning your summer vacation? Choice Hotels has just announced some big changes to their Choice Privileges programs and the perks are bigger and better than ever! Check out how you can join the over 25 million Choice Privileges members to start reaping these choice rewards.

Are you planning a vacation? Whether you're heading out on the open road or going to a very specific destination, Choice Hotels most likely has a hotel in the area since they have more than 6,300 hotels in their franchise, representing over 500,000 rooms in more than 35 countries and territories. I don't know about you, but I'm a member of a few hotel loyalty programs and I always try to stay within those networks so I can rack up the benefits. Unfortunately, a lot of programs have cut their benefits and have made it nearly impossible for you to earn perks or a free night stay. That's exactly why I was so excited to hear that Choice Hotels is bucking the trend and have announced a series of impressive changes to their Choice Privileges rewards program and you can end up with some pretty choice rewards!

The new additions to the Choice Privileges program are to ensure that the 25 million members can reap their rewards even faster. You won't have to wait for months or even years to finally get anything from your loyalty program, with Choice Privileges you can start getting rewards on day one thanks to the following enhancements:

FlexRewards: You'll have even more flexibility to cash in your rewards to get to a free night faster. Choice Privilege members can redeem points for free nights at discounted point levels at participating hotels, varying by season. There will be up to 2,000 hotels reduced during either the weekdays or weekend at any time. This is just one more way that Choice Privileges gets you to rewards faster.

Your Extras: Designed to pay special attention to weekday travelers, with Your Extras you get a little something 'extra' right at check in. For each qualifying stay that includes at least 1 weekday night (any night Sunday through Thursday), you can earn a special reward of your choice. U.S members have 5 options, varying from Fuel Rewards® savings at participating Shell locations to a $5 coffee card to Amazon.com credit. International members have 2 different options: 500 bonus points or 100 airline miles from participating airline carriers.

Digital Gift Cards: This one is amazing! Choice Hotels is the first hotel company to offer immediate gift card downloads for instant gratification. That way, if you don't have another trip planned but still want to cash-in some of your rewards, you can by redeeming your points on ChoiceHotels.com or the mobile app for digital gift cards. There are over 80 of your favorite restaurants and retailers to choose from. We're talking Target, The Home Depot, and more!

Points for Stays: With Choice Privileges, you're going to get 10 points per dollar spent at all 5,500 Choice Hotels. This even includes economy and extended stay hotels, such as MainStay Suites, Suburban, EconoLodge and Rodeway Inn. Plus, during Choice Hotel's award winning promotions, it's now easier than ever to qualify since members no longer need to stay two consecutive nights at economy brands.

Keep Your Points: No longer do you have to worry about losing your precious points! As long as you stay active by completing a qualifying activity (like redeeming points, purchasing points, earning points, or referring a friend) at least once every 18 months, you get to keep your points.

I'm so excited about these changes! I've been a Choice Privileges member since 2013 and I'm looking forward to getting bigger and better perks from now on.
