Fruit Ice Pops Recipe
This week we made some yummy fresh fruit ice pops and kept cool with Capri Sun as part of a sponsored post for Socialstars. All opinions are my own. I hope you enjoy this fruit ice pops recipe this summer!
Now that summer is right around the corner, we're looking forward to lots of outdoor time at the park and the beach. Living in Florida, you can count on gorgeous days filled with sunshine, but it certainly gets HOT! We are always on the go during the summer months, and I want to ensure my family stays cool and hydrated. I think offering them yummy and convenient Capri Sun juice drinks will do the trick - especially when we turn them into Capri Sun juice drink ice pops made with fresh fruit! This fruit ice pops recipe is so quick and easy to make too!
I've been enjoying Capri Sun pouches since I was a child, and I can't think of anything better to beat the heat on a hot summer day than a Capri Sun! Now, I don't know if I've mentioned this before but my little guy will not touch fresh fruit (or vegetables for that matter - but that's another story). He'll eat purée mixtures out of pouches all day long, but fruits in their natural forms are just not appealing to him. I'm constantly trying to figure out ways to incorporate fresh fruit and veggies into his diet and make them exciting. That's when I decided a Capri Sun Fresh Fruit Ice Pop would be perfect!
I ordered a fabulous little set of silicone popsicle molds, but you could even use an ice-tray mold and toothpicks or pop sticks for handles. Next, I gathered my ice pop ingredients. Since Capri Sun juice drinks have no artificial flavors, dyes, or preservatives, I thought they would be a great choice for the liquid in our pops. They're available at almost every major retailer where we live, so I snagged a box of 10 for only $1.97 at Walmart, along with some fresh fruit and got down to business.
Don't they look yummy? They're a hit in our home!
I'm looking forward to packing up our cooler with refreshing Capri Sun pouches and hitting the beach this summer! Do you have any special plans for summer travel? Don't you think Capri Sun juice drinks are perfectly convenient for on-the-go families?
