Even though it's summer time and things are more laid back, there's no good time to slack on safety. Car seat safety, sun safety, and even, yes, bicycle safety. As a mom, I feel like I'm on safety patrol 24/7. So anytime I find a product to help make being safe more fun, I'm on it. Since summer means bike trails, roller blades, skateboards, and more, helmets and accessories are a must have. While my kids used to associate safety gear with boring, I recently found Wipeout. I've partnered with Wipeout to show you the Wipeout Dry Erase Helmet and Accessories that allows kids to personalize and design as they wish!
Safety Can Be Fun!
Our 12-year-old daughter, Hannah is very artistic. During the summer, you'll find her making chalk art all over our driveway. My niece is the same way. So when I told the girls that they'd get to design their own gear, they were over-the-moon excited!
Safety Can Be Cool!
Because kids can decorate and design not only their Wipeout dry erase helmet but also their knee pads, wrist guards, and elbow pads, the possibilities are endless. Rainbows? No problem! Got a skull lover? Get busy drawing a crossbones! The sky is the limit. Mix, match, and let your personality shine through. Don't forget to check out this tutorial page for more ideas.
Wipeout Dry Erase Helmet
Time To Get Busy!
The girls sat down to get busy on making their custom gear and my boys got right in there helping. The included stencils are a great starting point but the kids got creative on their own too. At first, we thought some of the markers weren't working but, it turns out, they get brighter after a few seconds as they dry! Designing was loads of fun and kept the kids busy for a LONG time! The best part was when a mistake was made, they just simply wiped it off and started again.
The Wipeout Dry Erase Helmet is currently available in a variety of colors including neon zest, neon pink, teal, black, white, hot pink, neon orange, and neon green. Each helmet comes paired with a 5-pack of dry-erase, non-toxic markers as well as a stencil kit to help with designing. Plus, they are designed with ABS hard-shell construction for ultimate durability. Featuring true multi-sport protection, they are dual certified for both bike and skate use.
So as you can see, these sturdy and stylish helmets offer hours of fun during designing but also protect during play. Great for both boys and girls, the helmets are available in three size options: ages 3+ (fits 47-49 cm), ages 5+ (fits 49-52 cm), and ages 8+ (fits 50-54cm).
