    tofu recipes for beginners

Tofu, A.K.A. bean curd, is a food made by coagulating soy milk and then pressing the resulting curds into soft white blocks. The resulting blocks can soft, firm, or extra firm. Its got a subtle flavor and is often seasoned or marinated to suit the dish being made. Usually, tofu is something that people either love or hate. I was on team hate for quite some time. That is, until I started dating my husband a decade ago. We had just started dating when he offered to make me Pad Thai. When I got to his house I realized he was making it with tofu (say what?!). Since I didn't want to disappoint him, I sheepishly ate my meal. To my complete surprise, I liked it! I quickly made the jump to team tofu and the rest is history.

If you're looking to make the leap into incorporating tofu into your diet, I've rounded up some tofu recipes for beginners that I think you'll love.

I have no clue what to do with tofu. I have eaten it once or twice, but my family looks at tofu like it is alien. I think this would be interesting,

I have to admit, I only eat tofu in Hot & Sour soup. These are some great recipes to broaden my horizon though.
