For as long as I can remember, my husband and I have been planning a 5-year wedding anniversary cruise, and last week, we made it happen! We had purchased the tickets and flights months previously, and when I recently found out I was pregnant, I panicked! Would we still be able to cruise!? I made the cut-off by only four weeks (turns out, you can't sail if you're over 24 weeks), and sighed in relief, then immediately started panicking, thinking, "What am I going to wear?!" I've always loved the idea of Formal Night, and getting to dress up all glam for a night on the boat, but formal maternity-wear? Goodness, where was I going to find something I loved that still looked romantic, dressy, and flattering? A quick search led me to Tiffany Rose, and I was instantly smitten with their gorgeous maternity formal gowns!
At no cost to facilitate this review, they sent me something so gorgeous, I couldn't WAIT to get on that boat, just to wear this dress! This is the Eden Gown Long in Caspian Blue. We really had fun dressing up and getting pictures around the cruise ship! Doesn't it photograph well? Since this $425 dress cost more than my wedding dress, you can bet I felt like royalty!
Tiffany Rose is currently sold in 80 countries, and is being spotted on celebrities left and right!
So here I am at 20 weeks, but this is my 3rd baby, so I'm probably much larger than the average 20-week pregnant woman, especially someone pregnant with their first. I've had this dress for almost a month now, and I've noticed that each week I tried it on, it fit and fell better around the baby belly. This dress will easily look and feel just as comfortable in several more months. The majority of the Tiffany Rose dresses look like they would be beautiful and well-fitting in all three trimesters.
Ok, let me rave about the fabric. The base (liner) layer is a silky knit that is as smooth as butter against your skin. The lace layer is completely gorgeous and stretchy as well, so there is nothing inhibiting or tight anywhere on this dress. The silky sash is striking in the long length and really brings it all together. It creates a lovely cinch above your belly to create that cute maternity silhouette, instead of just a drape of a dress. This is the time to show off your curves, ladies!
I really love the choice of colors on this dress. The variation in the blues brings out the depth and interest, and these smoky colors are refined for any occasion. You could wear this to a holiday party, a wedding, or any formal event and be just stunning without being a spectacle! I think this dress really showcases the bump without drawing attention to it in an obnoxious way. The fabric falls very gracefully, and I feel like even if worn at full-term, the lace pattern would disguise any fabric stretching that would have to happen it order to cover the 40-week belly.
To give you an idea about the length of this dress, I'm about 5'2, but in 3.5" heels, the dress was still dragging a few inches along the floor. The good news is that there is not any unique lace trim on the bottom--just a straight hem--which will be easy for any tailor to tackle and look just the same after its done. I ordered a size 2 or US 6/8 and I thought the fit was right on.
Can you tell I'm crazy about this dress?! These have turned out to be simply gorgeous maternity pictures, and I've been sharing these pictures anywhere and everywhere. I love being able to show women that you have stunning maternity pictures without having to bare much skin at all. You can showcase your beautiful pregnant body in a glamorous gown from Tiffany Rose!

This is a beautiful dress and you describe it perfectly. You seem to glow in the pictures. I, too, love to sew and often find myself hemming up evening gowns for friends who are shorter in stature. Gorgeous dress and will show it to my daughter who is expecting!
