Our son has never liked riding in a stroller by himself. He's always been held or worn in a baby carrier, but now that he's over one I think he's ready for a little more independence. I honestly don't know why our little guy hates the stroller so much. He'll ride in our double stroller with his sister but he just HATES when we put him in a stroller by himself. I would wear him in our baby carrier everywhere, but now that he's getting bigger that's not always feasible. I still wear him quite a bit, but we've also finally found a ride-on toy that he enjoys a lot!
Step2 Push Around Buggy GT Review
We were excited to try out the Step2 Push Around Buggy GT when it arrived at our house. It didn't take long to assemble and we used it indoors for a little bit while we waited for the snow outside to melt (thanks, Minnesota!). Our son loved being pushed around the house in his car and we couldn't wait to get it outside and take it on a longer ride.
Finally, we were blessed with some balmy February days! We took the buggy on a walk to the park which is a few blocks from our house. Our little guy Lincoln had a blast on the ride there, turning the steering wheel and beeping the horn all the way! He's 15 months old and he fits great in it.
It's very easy to push and the over-sized handle is at just the right height. The Step2 Push Around Buggy GT is very lightweight at only 12 pounds. I can easily turn and maneuver it down the sidewalk. One of the features I appreciate is the seat belt. He loves to stand up if we don't buckle him! This way, I feel like he's secure and I don't worry about him tipping forward or sideways out of his seat.
There is storage under the hood which is perfect for our keys or snacks while we head to the park. I'm usually wearing yoga pants or leggings without pockets so it's nice to have that compartment like I would in a stroller, just for those few things we need to bring with us.
The buggy also features two cup holders, perfect for a drink and a snack cup on-the-go! They're accessible from the seat so your kiddo can grab a drink while riding.
I love how much dimension and detail the stickers add to the buggy. Step2 toys are always so fun, and this one is no different. Our son loves when we tell him we're going for a ride in his car. He climbs right in and waits for us to buckle him, and off we go! One thing to mention is that the buggy is fairly loud on the road and sidewalk. I don't think it's a huge deal, but you probably wouldn't want to take it on a stroll with your mom friends while you're trying to hold a conversation.
We absolutely love our Step2 Push Around Buggy GT. I'm sure our son will use it for the next couple years. It's a great ride-on toy for kids that can't propel something by themselves yet.

I'd have to say that I love all of the features! From the storage compartments, to the easy assembly, the choice of personalizing it with stickers included, and the choice of colors!! I'd love to win this for my niece! It'd make it so much easier to take her and my son on walks when the weather is nice, to get them out of the house for a bit. The only problem is that my son would probably want to ride in it also but he's 6 years old, so he'd probably be to big for it. Maybe you should consider coming out with a version for older children?
