I am constantly on the hunt for the latest and greatest toddler toys to help my extremely active son beat boredom. As he has grown, he has fallen in love with cars; specifically Hot Wheels. That is why when I saw Step2's new Hot Wheels Car & Track Play Table, I immediately knew this would be a perfect addition to my son's playroom.
Step2 Hot Wheels Car and Track Play Table
When we first got this track, I had my husband put it together in the living room for a little reveal of sorts. My little two year old screamed "OH MY! For me Mama?" when he opened the door and ran out to the living room. It's one of those little things us mamas get a thrill about.
Let me go into a little bit of detail about this great toy:
- As featured, this play table has a Hot Wheels race track that drops down off of the table. It has a little lift/push feature to assist the cars go "really really really fast" down the track.
- The Hot Wheels race track is also removable. You can also add track to this one if you own additional Hot Wheels race tracks!
- Since the track attaches to the table, it helps keep track in place. Less time trying to keep putting tracks together!
- Comes with a set of 5 Hot Wheels cars which larger wheels to assist with speed.
- Has a one-piece lid that slides over the top to convert to a solid play surface (great for those craft days or playing with puzzles!)
- The table also does a great job of being storage for all of the cars! After playtime, my son lines up all of his cars and we slide on the top!
- Table is large enough for multiple children to play at one time.
- The table is at the perfect height for little toddlers.
- It is sturdy and can handle a busy active toddler racing and crashing cars all over it.
- It's easy to clean if there is an accidental spill.
