A Halloween Snack Idea - "Spiderweb" Hummus!

This Halloween snack idea is sure to be a hit. Our spooky spiderweb hummus will be a favorite for kids and adults alike!

I think I had to leave home for college and start grocery shopping on my own to discover the wonder of hummus! What was this delicious and creamy substance and goes well with almost everything?! And it's healthy? I couldn't get enough of it in college, and since then, my fridge has rarely been without a tub of this goodness. Already familiar with Skinnygirl and a hummus-lover, I was intrigued with their hummus flavors and anxious to try all of them: Classic, Cilantra Jalapeno, Roasted Garlic, and Roasted Red Pepper!

    Skinnygirl Hummus

Skinnygirl Hummis is a reduced-calorie food, and you'll be glad to know it is also gluten-free, kosher, and all-natural. I'm sure the creaminess of the mixture comes from the non-fat Greek yogurt, and what is most appealing to me is the good amount of flavor, while still remaining creamy. It is not very spicy, but still great with both bland and strong vegetables, and we all think it is delicious on sandwiches.

    Skinnygirl Hummus

We had some friends over last weekend, and I thought a "Halloween Hummus" would be the perfect low-calorie snack to munch on. I scooped it into a shallow glass dish, then piped sour cream through a cake decorating bag and a frosting tip #4. Next time, I think I'll just squirt on a continuous spiral of sour cream and make the lines with a butter knife. This turned out a little too chunky, especially over time. You know, I bet softened cream cheese would be even better! We ate it with carrots and red peppers, and spread it on panini sandwiches. Delicious!

Surely you've seen Skinnygirl products before. They're best known for their low-calorie cocktails, but have recently expanded their line to include snacks and popcorn. From margaritas and on-the-go bars to lip balm, they're giving women all sorts of things to love. Besides hummus, you'll be thrilled to know that Skinnygirl also carries dips made with low-fat yogurt and a salsa that is only 15 calories per serving!

This would be great for your Halloween parties and play dates this month! I'm going to keep my eyes out for the Roasted Garlic flavor next.

I love love love hummus I spend so much money buying hummus in the stores I really need to think about making it from scratch. Thanks for the coupon I will be using it 😉 The way you decorated it is cute by the way. That would make a really cute appetizer for the office Halloween party

I need to remember to get hummus and particularly to try this roasted red pepper flavor. I don't like anything that's too hot/spicy, but I bet this would be great with some pretzels or cheesy crackers perhaps.

This is really cute! I am a huge hummus fan and this sounds delicious. I like how you added olives and a web to it. I also like the shortcut of using premade , that sure makes things quicker.
