Summertime is grilling time! I'm sharing my recipe for an out-of-this-world burger that has just the right amount of spice. Your whole family will love this Smoky Bacon Avocado Cheeseburger recipe.
The last thing I want to do on a hot summer night is stand in front of the stove to prepare a meal. I want to be outside watching my kids swim in the pool while making dinner. That's why I love my new grill. You can't beat the taste of food fixed on the grill and I absolutely love the easy cleanup. Awesome flavor and no pots and pans to scrub; it's a win in my book!
I love to head to to save money. You can't beat their BOGO deals. Especially when they run sales on items to create a juicy, smoky chipotle bacon avocado cheeseburger.
Smoky Bacon Avocado Cheeseburger
I ran to my local Publix and picked up Chop House by Holten Steak Burgers, Tabasco Sauce, Borden Singles, and a few other key ingredients to create a delicious burger that we loved. The great thing about these ingredients is that you can use them in so many different ways and in so many recipes.
The foundation of a great burger is a great piece of meat, and you'll love these Steak Burgers from Holten's Chop House. They're made with the best cuts of meat in butcher-style grinds and full of flavor. I picked up the Angus Sirloin Steak Burger. As a busy mom who often forgets to defrost meat for dinner ahead of time, I love that these burgers are frozen fresh. They're so convenient. They cooked perfectly in just about 15 minutes. I bought a 32-ounce package of 6 burgers for only $11.99.
I brought out the Borden Singles once the burgers were done. These individually wrapped cheese slices are so easy to grab and immediately turn a burger into simple comfort food.
I bought the Sharp Singles and talk about a perfect melt.

Once my cheeseburgers were ready to come off the grill, I sliced up a red onion and avocado. I topped it off with some crispy bacon. You can get the bacon pre-cooked and simply warm it on the grill. I assembled it all on top of a yummy pretzel bun then added Tabasco Brand Chipotle Pepper Sauce for a touch of added flavor. It's a great balance of smoke and heat. Any Tabasco Sauce will do, but I'm partial to the Chipotle variety. Again, I picked this up for just $2.99.
Are you ready to start grilling? Visit or head to your local Publix to grab the in-store Extra Savings flyer to see a complete list of product savings. Pro tip: if you don’t see the Extra Savings flyer in the kiosk at the store’s entrance, ask customer service for a flyer. You can also look for at-shelf signs located throughout the store which highlight the savings during their promotions.

Such an enviable looking burger. I think that's what I'm going to have to have for dinner tonight!
