Currently, all of my favorite shoes that belong to my kids are from See Kai Run. They have not let us down this winter and I can vouch for their durability. We are now life-long fans of See Kai Run and I'm so excited to share with you our favorites from their Spring line and offer a giveaway below!
As soon as the weather starts thinking of changing, I panic a little, remembering that all three of my children will need new shoes. Winter boots won't cut it in May! With the rate at which children grow and the seasons change, I feel like I am never not looking for high quality shoes that also look darling and will still let my kids act like kids -- a.k. comfortable and durable. Is my wish list too demanding? Absolutely not. See Kai Run checks all the boxes for me.
We last got our hands on See Kai Run shoes before this Fall/Winter, and my kids have been wearing their boots and sneakers every single day and they still look fantastic. The boots are absolutely waterproof, the rubber toes have kept them looking scuff-free, and I really wouldn't want them wearing anything else. Imagine the smile on my face when I heard, at no cost to facilitate this review, we could get our hands on their new Spring styles!
The first thing I started looking for was a pair of sandals for my oldest. He's in Kindergarten and has to have close-toed shoes to play on the asphalt at recess. Crocs and flip-flops are not allowed, but he still prefers the simplicity of sandals and is very active, so fisherman sandals are a good solution. We looked at all the new styles for boys and Lincoln and I decided that the LINCOLN sandal would be perfect!
I love all the textures and the variety of materials used in these shoes. The rubber toe cap is so important in keeping shoes looking nice and protecting toes in the woods, the streams, and all the other places that little boys explore! With two hook-and-loop straps, you can really get a customized fit, adjusted to where it feels most comfortable.
See the soft lime green lining? It is squishy and comfy! My boy loves it most of all. It's not the kind of sole that will get smelly and soppy because the entire shoe is water friendly and get this -- washable. Machine wash cold on gentle cycle with mild detergent and air dry.
Next, my middle child needed new sneakers. He tends to only get hand-me-downs from his older brother, and currently wears a pair that frankly I'm embarrassed about being seen in public. He cares a little more about how "cool" his shoes look, so when I showed him all the super cool and trendy options from See Kai Run, I was pleased and not surprised that he found quite a few pairs that he loved.
We agreed on these classic RUSSELL sneakers and they are so totally him. I worry a lot about shoes looking trashy quickly so I pay attention to what materials are used in shoe construction. It's cool that this design includes black denim and leather overlays, and that they still have the durable rubber toe.
While this little man is interested in learning to tie his shoes, I feel like velcro straps are still the answer for him, especially when they allow for such a secure fit and custom adjustability.
I feel like these sneakers fall in the nice/casual category, but they can still handle any activity on the playground, be it climbing or kickball, especially because the herringbone pattern on the sole offers great traction. Lastly, notice the padding around the collar. No wonder these were instantly his most favorite pair of shoes ever.
And now here's where my heart skips a beat a little: toddler girl sandals! In yellow!
These are the CAMILA sandals in yellow, and they were insta-favorites as soon as my girl pulled them out of the box. I love the classic caged-toe look in this bright and happy color that works perfectly for Spring and Summer!
Close-toed is important to me. My girl just turned two, but she still takes a number of spills, especially when she gets silly and the terrain isn't carpet, and I just feel better about her toes being protected. The grid-like soles are great for traction and the leather lining is breathable so they are comfortable for all-day adventures.
Notice that these have a full leather insole and rubber outsole that keep them comfortable inside and flexible outside. These work for the play ground, day outings, and I'll probably let her wear these to church all summer. These are also available in a Brown Sugar medley of colors and metallic silver!
Such darling play shoes! The best part? She can (and LOVES to) put them on herself! Everyone's happy. I think there are fewer more frustrating things than an insistent toddler with difficult shoes. One velcro strap on these make them easy-peasy to put on and they allow for adjustability as her little feet grow.
As with all of the See Kai Run shoes, I am astounded over how lightweight each pair is, and still durability has not been compromised. My kids aren't weighed down by their footwear and they aren't inhibited in their wild adventures. I'm so excited for my kids to enjoy these shoes this Spring and Summer! We are giant See Kai Run fans and are definitely returning customers!
