Special thanks to Disney Studios and ABC for hosting me for the Ralph Breaks The Internet Event!
I've been waiting for Ralph Breaks The Internet since attending the D23 Expo a few years ago. We loved Wreck-It Ralph and are so excited to have another adventure with Ralph and Vanellope. As you can imagine, when Disney Studios reached out and invited me to Los Angeles for the premiere of Ralph Breaks The Internet, I quickly said yes.
Ralph Breaks The Internet Event
Besides walking the red carpet (which I'm SO excited about!), we'll be doing a lot of cool and exclusive things during our stay. On our first day, we'll be heading to The Void to experience Ralph Breaks VR, a new hyper-reality experience based on the film that’s produced by ILMxLAB.
Afterward, we're going to hear about the “Oh My Disney” sequence that has been a part of Ralph Breaks The Internet since the first script and story reels. Co-writer Pamela Ribon will discuss the inspiration for the scene and the work that went into bringing these beloved characters into the world of the internet! We'll have the chance to attend a drawing workshop with legendary Disney Animator Mark Henn. Mr. Henn was the primary collaborator with the Ralph Breaks The Internet animation team to help translate the iconic Disney Princesses that we'll see in the film. We're going to watch him do a live sketch tutorial!
Speaking of Disney princesses, keep an eye out for me on the red carpet as I Disney bound as one of my favorite princesses! On Monday, November 5th, we'll be heading to the El Capitan Theatre to watch the world premiere of Ralph Breaks The Internet alongside the film's stars and the incredible artists that created the movie. We'll also be attending the premiere party after the movie at The Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel. Someone, pinch me!
The next day, we'll head to ABC Studios for a Single Parents experience. I'm not sure what's in store for us yet, so follow along with us using the #ABCTVEvent and #SingleParents hashtags.
"Single Parents" airs on Wednesdays at 9:30|8:30c on ABC, and can also be watched via streaming (ABC app/ABC.com/Hulu) and on demand. This ensemble comedy follows a group of single parents as they lean on each other to help raise their 7-year-old kids and maintain some kind of personal lives outside of parenthood.
The series begins when the group meets Will Cooper, a 30-something guy who’s been so focused on raising his daughter that he’s lost sight of who he is as a man. When the other single parents see just how far down the rabbit hole of PTA, parenting and princesses Will has gone, they band together to get him out in the world and make him realize that being a great parent doesn’t mean sacrificing everything about your own identity.
That's not all though! We'll also have an experience with "The Rookie." Stay tuned for more info on that and follow #TheRookie and #ABCTVevent for details!
"The Rookie" airs Tuesdays at 10|9c on The ABC Television Network and is also available streaming (ABC app/ABC.com/Hulu) and on demand. Starting over isn’t easy, especially for small-town guy John Nolan who, after a life-altering incident, is pursuing his dream of being a Los Angeles police officer. As the force’s oldest rookie, he’s met with skepticism from some higher-ups who see him as just a walking midlife crisis. If he can’t keep up with the young cops and the criminals, he’ll be risking lives including his own. But if he can use his life experience, determination and sense of humor to give him an edge, he may just become a success in this new chapter of his life.
Be sure to follow along with me on the #RalphBreaksTheInternet Event! I'll be sharing lots of photos on Instagram and Twitter (@vivaveltoro for both). In the meantime, check out the trailer below!
