Printable Color Me Valentines for Kids

    color me valentines

I remember constructing a little Valentine Mailbox at elementary school, then my classmates and I would hand deliver our Valentines to one another like little postal workers. It was such a fun tradition and I've really been looking forward to helping my kids with their Valentines for their friends at school. Last year we did a Pinterest-worthy Play Doh Valentine since our school tries to limit sweets, and I hadn't realized how complicated Valentine's Day cards had become! My son came home with quite a few treats and gifts, but I noticed his favorite Valentines were the ones that were a bit more interactive or that had a little craft to do. So, this year we're getting crafty and making our own Color Me Valentines. One side will be printed in full color and have a place for my little guy to address his classmates and add his name, and the other will be printed in black and white so his friends can color the pictures themselves. I plan on packaging these with a little baggy or box of crayons so they're sure to be a hit.

You can either print these double sided (print one side, then flip it according to your printer's directions and print on the opposite side) or print on 2 pieces of paper and glue them together. I'd recommend using a heavier paper or card stock if you're planning on printing them double sided so the color doesn't bleed through.

    How CUTE are these Valentines?!
