Omaïki All in One Cloth Diaper Review

This post may contain affiliate links. Click here for more information.

    Omaïki

Omaïki was started in 2007, by best friends and business partners, Anouk and Ariane. They offer a full line of high end cloth diapering products, proudly made in Canada.

I was sent an AIO in one of their newest prints, WHOOOOO.

    Omaïki

This All-in-one (AIO) was a waterproof outer layer made of PUL. The WHOOOOO print is one of 7 new prints featured by Omaïki. This diaper features an velcro closure, although it's also available in snaps. The velcro is nice and strong and has worn well so far. There are laundry tabs in place to prevent the dreaded diaper chain.

    Omaïki

There are 4 rise settings to make this a one-size diaper. It's designed to fit babies from 8-35 pounds. There are crossover strips for the wings so the waist can get really tiny for even the littlest babies. You can see the diaper on the smallest settings in the photo below. The leg openings do get super tiny so there's a great chance this would fit a newborn once they reach 8 pounds.

    Omaïki

The inside of the diaper is made of suedecloth (100% polyester). There is a soaker sewn into the lining of the diaper made from bamboo and organic cotton. There is also an attached soaker, also made of bamboo/organic cotton. This soaker is only attached at the front which drastically cuts down on drying time. There is also a snap in booster made of the same bamboo/cotton blend for extra absorbency.

    Omaïki

We were able to get a great fit with this diaper! That's one positive for velcro closure - you get such an amazing fit every time because it's just so customizable. The elastic is really substantial but gentle enough not to leave deep red marks on your little one's thighs and back.

    Omaïki

As for performance, we've had great luck with our Omaïki AIO. It's very absorbent and we haven't had any leaks. I love the snap in doubler for the extra absorbency it provides and that it snaps out for washing, which definitely cuts down on drying time. We were able to get a great fit and have plenty of room to grow.

You can purchase an Omaïki AIO in one of their 7 new prints $30 on their website ($28.50 for solids). They're currently having a great buy 5, get 1 free promotion.

Buy it: You can purchase Omaïki diaper on their website.

What do you think about the Omaïki AIO??
    What's your favorite feature??

For my other AIOs, if I'm drying in the dryer it usually takes 2 full cycles in my front loader (mostly with my elementals - after one cycle they'll still be damp and I'll throw them in to dry with the baby clothes). With this one it's usually dry after one 40 minute cycle, or just every so slightly damp. I usually hang dry my diapers after they're fully prepped so I'll
